The standard single-coil heads will fit but you'll find there is a gap between the top of the silicone cup and the bottom of the air tube of the aerotank. Mentioned it in reply #23 on this thread allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/35140/captain-vapers-advice-decent-vaper?page=2Wow the 2 heads i have with my aerotank have been giving me the best vape i have ever had out of a clearo/tank. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 I think I'll have to have a go at re-building the dual-coil ones...I couldn't tell any difference between the stock 2 heads I got and a well re-built single coil tbh.

Did you use the "Apply a gift certificate" and then cancel to go back to add something else to your order at any point?
I did that once and when I got back to the check out it wouldn't accept the code a second time.
Customer Service sorted it out though.

Mmmmm I don't see the point of buying an aerotank and then implementing a badge job to fit a single coil. If you want single coil then in my view your better off with protank 2 and an aerotank base if you prefer AFC. Just my opinion I prefer the brushed stainless steel of the aerotank, is the protank 2 chrome plated brass like the protank 1? Didn't get on with the protank 1 tbh the vape had a weird cold metallic flavour to it..not getting that at all with the aerotank. I like having the option for using dual-coils..just haven't bothered trying to re-build the 2 that came with it yet..might try some 3mm Ekowool in there first actually.

Nope, I like the one it came with so I'm just using that.
I think it's just me having trouble, I only have 3 other ones I got from China so it might be that they're a tiny bit too big and there's nothing wrong with the AeroTank. (haven't seen anyone else mentioning it)
you should be fine with any drip tip you fancy.
Liberty Flights do a couple of plain soft drip tips I think and I'm sure other places do.

Yep it does 18350's no problem & it will charge single batterys quickly at the full 750mA current (don't do that with small AAA or 10440 though, need to do 2 at once with those in slots 1 & 3). It treats all 4 slots independently so you can pop batteries in and take em out willy nilly and it will charge them fine. I am used to putting a battery on to charge as soon as it has run out, so then if another runs out while no.1 is charging, I can stick it in & not have to wait for the 1st to finish.. exactly If you have an 18350 already charging in slot 1, and then you have another battery you want to charge, pop it in slot 2 next to it. If you put it in slot 3 instead it will just take a bit longer to charge as the 750mA current will then be split between the 2 batteries. Quick review of the Nitecore I4 V2 here

Just a comment on the aerotank, there a bdc rather than a bcc like the protank two. You don't have to use the "BDC" (bottom dual coil) units in the AeroTank though. I just re-build the single coil Evod/Protank heads and use those in the Aerotank mostly (I can't tell much difference between the dual coil & single coil either tbh maybe a slightly thicker vapour) There's a difference in size between the Aerotank Dual-coil unit (left) & the old Evods (right), the silicone cup sits higher on the aerotank heads, to make room for that extra coil. When you put a single coil Evod or Protank head in the Aerotank there's a gap between the top of the silicone cup and the bottom of the air tube (hard to photo but you get the idea) so it's not making a seal and you'll get leaks. Easy fix though, take a spare evod silicone cup and place it back to back with the other one, this'll fit snuggly over the Aerotank air tube and make a seal. Makes life easier if you're happy with a single coil (Haven't tried it yet but I can't imagine re-building the dual coil is much different to the single coil..just have to do everything twice lol.)

Both the XTAR XP4 & Nitecore I4 V2 you linked to are good chargers purkle, I went for the Nitecore simply because the XP4 didn't exist at the time & I could get the Nitecore from China (FastTech) for about £15 Never tried the XTAR's so can't vouch for them but I always recommend the Nitecore I4 , they're pretty highly regarded in the vaping & torch/flash light communities. It's charged every battery I've thrown at it, auto-detects the type of battery you have put in so you don't have to select the charge current via buttons or a menu, doesn't overcharge, has 3 LED's per slot so you get a good idea of charge status, can reset a tripped protection circuit in a protected battery, has sliders in slot's so you don't need to buy spacers etc. Sure, some chargers that have 4 independent charge circuits like the XP4 (Nitecore has 2 circuits split across the 4 slots) might charge 4 batteries a bit faster, but I don't often need to charge more than 2 at once and from what I've read the 4 circuit chargers can get quite toasty when charging 4 batteries simultaneously. Just so you know...the Nitecore I4 has 2 charging circuits split across the 4 slots. 1 circuit handles the charging of slot's 1 & 3 and other handles slot's 2 & 4 What that means is that if you take 2 batteries & place them in slot's 1 & 2 at the same time or 3 & 4, they will both be charged quickly at the full current of 750mA. If you place them in slot's 1 & 3 or 2 & 4 it will take longer as each battery will be getting just 375mA of current, but charging slower might increase the life of the battery. Whatever charger you get, read the manual and take note of any precautions in there. For example, the Nitecore manual says you shouldn't charge a single AAA battery on it's own, always charge 2 at a time In slot's 1 & 3 or 2 & 4 so they only get 375mA (750mA current is too much for AAA's & 10440 Li-ion's) P.S It was me with the dingo, I'm not a particularly heavy vaper really, I get through about 1 full AeroTank of 22mg strength juice & I swap the 18350 battery out for a fresh one about twice a day. I just prefer a smaller 18350 mod and carrying a couple of spare batteries. Here it is with an AeroTank

I've been trying to work out buying a multimeter but a lot of them seem to only measure very high resistances, there seems to be a bit of an art to it... I just have one of these, cheap, works great. edit: (just noticed in the blurb it says "6. Resistance?200??2000K?" but ignore that..it will test down to 0?) multimeterquick tutorial here TutorialMy mulitimeter has pretty much been retired from active duty though since I got one of these. atomizer-resistance-tester

I'm also thinking that maybe the likelihood of me starting a fire / out-burning the whole device / wrecking an important bit / etc.. is pretty high?? Don't fret too much about mech mods/battery safety etc, just read up a little bit about do's & don'ts, show them a little respect and don't go super cheap. "Efest" or "AW" IMR batteries & a decent charger (I use the Nitecore I4 ) Nitecore I4Personally I just use the plain IMR "safe chemistry" batteries but you can get protected batteries (probably a good idea if you're going bigger than 18350). If you have the space inside or a telescopic mod you can add a safety fuse if you want, something like this. Safety FuseI had my mod in my back pocket a few days ago, forgot to lock the firing button. The Efest IMR drained right down to about 1.5v..got quite warm but didn't blow up or anything, popped it in the I4 & it charged right up again...happy days

Hi & welcome purkle Maybe try a Kanger Aerotank? can be had for £14.99 from Myepack great little atty, stainless steel and glass tank, easy to rebuild after a few trys or you can just buy replacement coil-units. I use it on a "Dingo" mech mod but there's loads of mech mods much cheaper (or free from the very generous Jane ) and they'll work just as well. Mech Mods+1 for "Torchy the battery boy" aka "big_f_d_d" on ebay for your batteries. (I use Efest 18350 IMR mostly).

I would seriously consider one. Out of all the kit i have the kayfun lite plus clone i have is one of my best buys. Incredible vape and that is just the clone. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 is that on ft? there bout 5 kayfun clones on there its so confusing haha I think Roscopecotrain means the EHPro one, you can get 'em in the UK from here EHPro KFL+ CloneI can't decide which one to go for myself, EHPro clone, The Russian V2 from here Russian 91% V2 or just bite the bullet and get a genuine KFL+ ...or maybe a Spheroid haha. I'm very happy with my Aerotank until I make my mind up though

None of my SS drip tips fit in the aerotank, seems like the hole is just a teeny bit smaller than a standard 510 drip tip.
