Hi emmita, if you can answer the questions below, I'll post up the actual recipe for you  What mg is your nic base? Is your nic base PG or VG? What mg nic do you want to end up with? what pg/vg ratio do you want to end up with? And how many ml do you want to make? (I'm assuming 30ml)  Nic base 18mg. 50/50 PG/VG. End result of pg/vg not important. Would like to end up with around 12mg nic ejuice and want to make 30ml. |

Ok, I think I must not be explaining myself very well. I'd like to make this recipe:  Are those flavour quantities to be added to a 10ml final quantity of ejuice. What percentages do I need to add for a final quantity of 30ml ejuice. Starting with 18mg nic base already prepared. Yes I have used the onsite Mix Calc, but so far with only one flavour, this is my dilemma. If I use the above flavour calulation for both a 10ml and 30 ml quantity, surely the flavour is going to be weaker in the 30ml quantity? |

Looks like I am going to have to think about this in a darkened room for a few hours. Are these percentages the same regardless of the quantity made up for say either 10ml or 30ml. ? I have some premade unflavoured nic base at 18mg. How do I go about adding the flavours as per Perps custard recipe for both quantities?  . Are all the recipes based on one particular quantity, and by adding the flavours does this not reduce the nicotine mg level? |

I have been looking at the screen shots of the recipes ......most look delicious. Mmmmm! But I am confused in that they seem to only show the flavourings and do not show (as far as I can see) any nicotine base or diluents percentages. My usual mix calculator i.e. the basic one show in Mix Calc, would show the exact quantities of Nic base plus some PG/VG to dilute the original nic base down the the required level, then the flavouring quantities. Am I missing something. Hope you can understand my question or maybe it is as confused as I feel about the screen shot recipies!!! |

I have some Caramel concentrate. Not mad about the mix I made, so any suggestions what I could mix it with to make it tastier and sweeter please? i.e a recipe or two!

I use 54mg nic base and I use one of the calculators that gives you the option of saving your mix configuration as a file. I find using 54mg base also allows me to work out roughly how much finished juice I end up with. 30ml = 90ml, 50ml = 150ml and so on, as I have my finished strength at around18mg. I only where gloves when handling the nic base and I mix the whole lot as an 18mg 50/50 base, then decant to 30ml bottles and add the flavour. This results in a slightly lower mg level, at around 16.5mg and is good for my needs as I don't like to overdo the flavour. Most base mixes are the same price in 18 as they are in 54mg. This is what I have started to do. I am assuming you still need to steep the liquid? Although somewhere I saw that someone here vapes it straight off. ???? |

You got it :-) can't work out the resultant nic % right now as I'm on my phone and it's far too late for mental arithmetic. ;-) It is not vital, but it would be very interesting to know the nic results if you have a minute or two to calculate!!  |

There are no stupid questions about Vaping, just Idea Stimulation, it's from these kind of threads I get decent, basic advice that makes sense!! I agree, I have learnt more from "Idea Stimulation" (love it!) than I could have possibly done elsewhere. Thanks everyone!  |

Thank you lairey, the penny just dropped and I see it now.........talk about a dumbo!!! (Me not you!). Now on a slightly different note, to save myself some time, I just made up a quantity of base unflavoured liquid at 18mg nic.. I am happy to vape at anything between 12 mg nic to 18 mg nic, so assume to add some flavour I just add drops to my own taste. e.g. for 10% flavour, add 1ml flavour to 9 ml nic base/ for 15% flavour 1.5 ml to 8.5 ml base nic? |
