Oh that is such a shame Roger How is your wife's broken wrist? Is it getting any easier for her? There has been a few complications, physio is not happy, so there is no way we can boat at the moment.

Due to broken wrists and bereavements, we unfortunately will not have the good ship Windsong anywhere near Tammuff, oh well, there is always next year.

It is a nice calculator. The only drawback (for me) is that it is online only. I have periods of time with no net. But very useable when online.

If you use 10% vodka/DW in a 10ml recipe, that is 1ml. Therefore the amount of dilutant pg/vg has to be reduced by 1ml to allow for this without reducing the required nic content. If you are making this at 70/30, the 9ml will be at 70/30. Your actual final 10ml will be about 65/25 because of the 10% vodka/dw. Just do as Perps suggests. I understand this Roger. When looking at EJMU it appears, using your example, that the reduction of 1ml is split 50/50 between added PG% and VG% irrespective of the PG/VG ratio whereas it should be split between total PG and VG ratios. I'm only really using EJMU to check the figures in my spreadsheet for my sanity I could just remove Vodka/PGA from the equation as the figures are small and the end mix will be as accurate as needs be but I really want my calculator to be precise. The way my calculator works is: I plug in: ml of final juice strength of final juice in mg/ml PG ratio of final juice nic strength in mg/ml % of PG in the nic PG% of final juice then I select my flavours from dropdown boxes and plug in the percentages of each component. After doing this, it fills in everything else: volume of component to be added, weight, density, bulk cost, cost per ml. Then it calculates the totals. It is. It has to be split 50/50 to maintain the ratio in the 9ml. You can be too precise, a lot of commercial mixers use EJMU, they are happy, so am I.

The recipes you refer to are simply copies of images that were/are posted in the Members Collection, therefore not my spelling! I will however add it to my list of corrections etc. to make once I have converted the text-only recipes to Romelee's template and done the EJMU cards for them. Thanks for pointing it out - if you can tolerate vegitabel for another couple of weeks, I'll get 'a round tuit'!! Andy I know it's not yours Andy (it's a well known vendor). It's not even the way you just spelled it, it's vegtabale. Been like it forever. I just thought that if you were trying to organise them................

Hi all, I have some VG diluent from a well known retailer, which has been labelled as being pre cut with 15% deionised water. I was wondering if this is an average percentage. Next time you are near your bottle of VG could you glance the label to see what percentage you got please? I'm just interested to learn what an average typical percentage number might actually be, rather than just endlessly guess about it. What you have is AG, Aqueous Glycerine. Some vendors who sell VG ready diluted (not cut, please) do label it as AG. If it is 100% VG, then about 10% is good. If you think it is still too thick, then try 15%. If you make a high PG mix, that is often enough to thin VG as is.

I take it the photo is of a ready mixed juice from them? Yes, and so that is what I am aiming to replicate with the flavouring. In that case as others have said, I would go 60/40 (although you can obviously go with what % you prefer) and perhaps 10-15% flavouring , I would always start lower as you can add but can't remove etc.
