dot1ml is an online ejuice calculator that I've been building. There are still a few advanced features to be implemented but if you fancy signing up for an account do feel free. Feedback will be gratefully received in this thread. Edit - 23/08/2013: Support for uploading and downloading eJuice Me Up recipe files now added

That is a pretty decent interface, seems to be accurate from my limited test, thanks.

Had a quick play Nick . . . simple enough to use and a easy layout that a novice could cope with, I like it.

I agree that it's very simple and intuitive. I also really like the fact that you've got the settings button beside nic base and flavours that gives access to changing PG/VG ratios. This leaves the main page uncluttered.

I've just registered and I also like the account section where you can set your defaults.
If we plug in someone else's recipe, is there any way of the recipe title to show their name in the recipe title rather than whoever inputted it?
Also, once the recipe collection gets heavily populated, will there be any provision to organise the recipes into folders by, perhaps creator and/or type of recipe (fruit, tobacco, desserts etc)?

Thanks all! I was going to disable the sign up and restrict usage at first to ensure nothing was going to go horribly wrong with it but on reflection I've decided to leave it open and let anyone sign up. So - if anyone else fancies trying it out just head over to dot1ml.com and sign up. lemental - I decided to use the user name in the recipe name primarily so that the search doesn't end up filled with lots of duplicated names. Allowing people to change this would make the mixer form a little bit more complicated - something that I'm trying to keep as simple as possible. I'd like to leave it like this for the time being but will certainly consider making this an option if it is often requested. If you're feeling guilty for using someone else's recipe you can always do something like this: dot1ml.com/mixer/1apagobIn future I intend to implement a tagging system (or more accurately a hashtag system - like Twitter uses) that will hopefully allow recipes to be browsed more easily. For anyone wondering what hashtags are see this: support.twitter.com/entries/49309-what-are-hashtags-symbols

NickIcon - the twitter idea is great! I understand about simplicity and the titles. I just thought it may be a good idea to have the creator's name in the title instead of, or in addition to, whoever plugged it in. Overall, I really like the calculator. As Super-Shiny pointed out, it has a lot of potential.

I just registered and had a play with this and I've got to say I think it's pretty darn good, I like the way I can enter my preferred defaults and then it's just a case of entering the flavours and percentages, then I can save my recipes; I think it's pretty fab! I'll be using it next time I'm brewing up Thanks

Nice one - I like it! I've left a recipe for people to play around with, and I will use this for future mixes to try it out. On a downside, if this takes off I guess I'll be changing all the recipes on the new Recipe threads to this format! Andy

I'm pleased with it ... I too like the preferred defaults option ... easy to use ... and I have yet to encounter the thing that really bugged me with EJMU the warning box re negative amounts which I found on a regular basis.
I like the clean and clear interface ...
I think you are on to a winner !!

Thanks for your feedback - glad it's going down fairly well! On a downside, if this takes off I guess I'll be changing all the recipes on the new Recipe threads to this format! Andy That's the idea! Hopefully by then I will have come up with a slick way of including recipes into forums. I'm pleased with it ... I too like the preferred defaults option ... easy to use ... and I have yet to encounter the thing that really bugged me with EJMU the warning box re negative amounts which I found on a regular basis. What does the warning box do on EJMU? Currently on dot1ml, any ingredients that go negative should turn red. I had penciled in a more helpful error message for the future but may avoid doing this if it's just going to be annoying.
