I think they will go further than that and use the power usage to calculate how much juice is being vaporized in real time. They will be able to mimic an analog by monitoring amounts of nanograms per drag and drags per mimicked anolog. Yes, could be a fantastic aid to getting totally off the nic. I have no problem with the thought of carrying on vaping zero nic juice. I think all the actions you go through when vaping have also been a major reason why I have managed to get off the stinkies after over 30 years of trying to give up smoking with no success. Its on my wish list for sure, and will be following all the threads with particular interest in the software and what the lucky owners use it for.

They are good, and they have just updated the software and firmware. Loads of scope for further improvements as well. When they first came out I was sceptical, but with the possibility of Government intervention on my vaping habits, I am looking to keep track of my vaping and nicotine input with a view to reducing it slowly and hopefully relatively painlessly over a period of about a year. The improvements in the software already means I can do that now, with further improvements to come. They do record your puff number levels, I see no reason why they wont be able to add the actual number of seconds that you are vaping on a daily basis. I think they will go further than that and use the power usage to calculate how much juice is being vaporized in real time. They will be able to mimic an analog by monitoring amounts of nanograms per drag and drags per mimicked anolog.

Ive spent my budget on vvs for the time being, They look very tempting with the PC interface. I wonder if they can measure your drag capacity !

So wattage mode lets you use low resistance attis ? Yes. One of my novas is 1.3ohms and one is 1.5ohms, both work fine. Edit: Should work with vv too, I'll try it now............yep works fine. Hes better sending it back, hope he got the whole kit from the same place.

Just interested to know what setup people use on their Vamo. Resistance of atty vs wattage/voltage. Mono With a Vivi Nova 2.8ohm I find the optimum is around the 7W mark. VN @ 1.8ohm, 5W DCT @ 1.5ohm, 7W. So wattage mode lets you use low resistance attis ?

I didn't understand ths bit "Without the battery it is reading 1.1. resistance 3.Ov. With battery 3.5W LOv " I couldn't work out the without battery bit cos it wouldn't work without a battery lol. Agreed if the atty is 1.1ohms then it will not work with ohms that low, 1.3ohms seems to be the lowest it will accept as I discovered Wednesday night when I recoiled my Aga-T2+ The more I read the more I see these devices are built to work best on bigger ohms. It makes perfect sens when you think who wants atties over 2.3 Ive small atties on order from the town market vender (3 weeks and still waitin of china delivery) He was selling in hes words 'I think there 2.8' I cant see myself using the ego batterys so much now so I wont be taking many of the small one of his hands Ill have to go and buy a collar so the ego tanks fit Ive a few with the 'I think there 2.8' atties

I don't think there is anything wrong with it, it just needed the battery changing. This Vamo is a learning curve for me. Spoke too soon, it's gone again, back to LOv. Without the battery it is reading 1.1. resistance 3.Ov. With battery 3.5W LOv GRRRRRR If the 1.1 is the attis resistance I think thats your problem try an atti 2.5ohms. The torpedo/lavatube rebrand is a similar class and it recognises if the atti is to low and shuts down. Im not 100% sure on this but is worth a read

After reading it properly I think I get it! Watts and volts are either and not together? So you can set it one or the other? Yes only one, Im on 3.5v with a 2.5ohm atti If I go any higher it tastes like charcoal.

You cant be in both at the same time, you can choose one or the other then just slowly ramp it up until the vape starts to taste a bit burnt then knock it down a couple of clicks to where it tastes ok again. I havent fingered out exactly what the difference is but I think Im getting a bigger throat hit of the watts.

If you press on the possessive button for about ten seconds the display will read NO1 or NO2. NO1 is a fluctuating mode, and NO2 is the precise mode, NO2 setting is the one you want. Or so Ive been told.

I think there is something going on with the vacuum pressures,When my tank starts to empty if a take a long draw there is a audible suck back as the drip tip leaves my mouth. I think this my be draining the feed pipe back to the tank to some degree. Three quarters full I like for some odd reason. I prefare the smaller tanks as there is a smaller volume of air available for expansion and draw back as it emptys. Of course that explanation could be total pish, but theres something going on
