The reality is ecigs are a first world solution, where tobacco market has been shrinking anyway.
For the tobacco companies there is still a fast growing market in the third world.
That's where their main focus is, and will be for the next few decades. First world is just
A sideshow for them these days.
It's infuriating that tobacco control, spending taxpayers money, are focussing on developed nations
Where they have taken things about as far as they could reasonably expect. Despite their projections
Of a smoking end game, smoking is still growing worldwide. The puritans are having no effect on
Global smoking but would prefer to waste their efforts persecuting vapers. I guess the conference hotels
Have more stars and they don't have to deal,with genuine poor people, with more pressing health issues like
Clean water.

Sub ohm is a very simple thing, it's a coil with a resistance less than 1 ohm.
There have been a number of "sub ohm" specific tanks that have come out recently.

The desire to run these at higher power. Prior to dedicated tanks being available it was
The preserve of RDAs which not everyone has the skill or knowledge to use.
Yes they do give more vapour, but that's only part of why people like them.
They also give more of a hit and enhance flavours.
They produce dense vapour, but the volume is determined by length of puff.
There is now another path that means using very low resistances. That is temperature control.
In order to find a resistance wire that changes it's resistance enough when it heats up
The easiest to calibrate were the very low resistance wires previously used as non resistance
Wires. It would be impractical,to use these wiresat anything other than the lower end of the sub
Ohm range.
Cloud chasing is doing everything you can to create the biggest thickest cloud, it is a single
Minded approach that means looking at: high VG juices, low or zero nic levels, fine tuning airflow,
Making coils that extract the best performance from your power supply.
And finding the best atomiser to put all this together, which is currently drippers.
Ultra low resistance coils being only one small element.

Mine is my I2 + I4 intellichargers, one for home
and the other for work.
Of all the kit I have they work the hardest and are most critical to the whole process.

By running in the election, they can gain media coverage, as demonstrated by a poll being Run by a national news paper. Now if we as vapers can't tick the box in support of vaping, because that is how it will be interpreted, Then perhaps we can all just resign ourselves to going back to smoking next spring. Most of us are well stocked so won't be returning to smoking any time soon  So you don't mind that those that haven't discovered vaping will be condemned to smoke. your lack of compassion is astounding. |

For many, deciding to vape is exercising their right to choice.
There are many in tobacco control wish to remove that choice.
I am always worried when people who vape suggest that it's ok
to take choices away from other vapers. This may overtly, or implied
By casting derision and scorn on other vapers choices.
For me there is only one issue, the right to vape, which is the
Right to enjoy nicotine without the risks conferred by burning tobacco.

Erm. No. Couldn't possible vote for a one trick campaign group to hold a government seat. While I agree with their (my) cause, I couldn't vote for them above a party representative who has real policies regarding the rest of my life. It couldn't hurt to support them in a news paper poll though, you never know, someone might notice. |
