Size is fine but I also think they would look better side by side.

I have received an Eleaf tank o meter from edampf-shop, who I'd thoroughly recommend, this being my first such meter I'm not sure how they are usually configured, however, to my surprise, and delight, this one measures voltage, ohms and wattage under load which will save me messing about with my multi meter; is this a normal configuration? Of course the on site description does explain all this but why on earth would I read a description, , it 11.95 euros and I also purchased an eleaf Lemo atomiser with which I am also delighted and spread the postage.

There are a plethora of reviewers, ignoring manufacturers offerings, on you tube, the forums and facebook all claiming to present objective, accurate reviews, so who do you all watch, who do you trust and who do follow purely for entertainment value?
I, obviously, have my own favourites, and opinions on them, however for now I'll keep those to myself but will list, in no order of preference, the ones I usually watch with no other comment for now.

I can certainly speak for the exceptional level of craftsmanship in these mods.

Ripshod: please don't feel sorry for me i'm both delighted it's gone, in one piece, and happy it's found an appreciative home; I'm happily vaping a 1.2 ohm coil with 3 strands of 2mm silica in my Russian stuck on top of my new big mod, courtesy of piper1 in an exchange. It strikes me that this works best with cotton/rayon and I've finally decided to ditch cotton, to me it has a subtle, yet distinct taste that I don't like. igual: delighted it's working out for you but seeing your photograph was scary, almost like looking in a mirror and seeing a younger, somewhat slimmer, version of myself, down to the hair glasses and beard.

I have a brand new fogger 4.1, I've had it less than a day and I hate it, see my post in general discussions - "Fogger V4.1 what a nightmare".
Basically it's free, postage as well, but if anyone would like to swap it for any kayfun style atty, old or new that would be ok too.
First to post gets it.

Well if anyone wants it it's going into the classifieds, I just put my Russian on and the flavour is so much better.

I've never had a problem with dual coils builds before, I've got a couple of very small RDAs with dual coils and although I don't use them any more I never had a problem building them small as they were, I just find the Fogger to be a total pain.

No, totally down to me, for some reason I thought the 4.1 was the bigger deck I now realise it was the 4.2/3 I should have looked for; live and learn; I'll probably give this one away in a week or 2.

I've had my trusty Russian for quite sometime now and was becoming a bit concerned that it could suffer a failure as it's getting a bit old, so I decided , after reading and watching several reviews, to purchase a black Fogger V4.1 form Myepack; I really wish I hadn't, I'm planning to purchase a Mister 510 come pay day, I'm sure my trusty Russian will last till then and probably see me out truth be told.
Well it arrived today, along with a Chi You brass clone which I love, at first all was well, I loved the appearance, it seems to be well made but I was a bit surprised at how small the deck seemed as I thought this version had been made with a larger deck, maybe it has but it's still small, read minute, anyway I decided to build a couple of micro coils and use cotton, not convinced by cotton but haven't totally abandoned it yet, eventually got the coils mounted using my overly large hands, desk magnifier, tweezers, probes and lots of naughty words; disaster, leaked everywhere, stripped it down re-wicked, more cotton leaked, stripped it down, less cotton leaked, stripped it down broke coil arm - screamed.
Round 2 - Micro coils with silica, difficult but can be done using needle threader, fine tweezers, patience and an extensive vocabulary of swear words, very pleased with the result until the multimeter came out - 2.2 ohms, tried it anyway, like vaping without a battery, Fogger nearly took flying lessons,I restrained myself but screamed.
Round 3 - back to what I know and love, 3 strands of 2mm silica x2 4 wraps of ribbon kanthal 1ohm firing fine so far so good, got it together, filled it overall not to bad, disappointed by the flavour, my Russian is much better, good hit, acceptable, although slight leaking/gurgling which I can live with till tomorrow when hopefully a bit of tinkering will rectify this, no screams.
So in general I'm disappointed, I love the appearance, the build quality is not bad, the capacity is great but the deck is much to small for me to work on it comfortably, the posts with top screws are really not good for a dual coil set up, they should have fitted posts with holes and allen screws, I chain vape so have to replace my coils regularly and often, I can't go through this, probably, every 5 - 6 days.
I'll persist with this for a while but I don't see this being part of my life for long, I think I'd lose the will to live if it was, and I will try and restrain myself from launching it into the garden.

To my great shame I recently realised that it has been well over a year since I first posted here requesting advice and given that I have learnt an awful lot from this site over the months I thought it only fair to both update and also, hopefully, become a more active member.
Well I haven't smoked now for almost 16 months, with the exception of 10 when I lost my vamo 8 months ago, I moved on from my initial ego and CE4's to a vamo and kanger pro tank II, about 6 months ago I purchased an EA clone and Russian and have been a mech mod convert since, still using the same set up which I'm very happy with; I need a big tank as I vape over 10mls, which I make up myself, 30/70, a day; the good thing is I've reduced from 18mg to 6mg which I use in all devices quite happily.
I'm a firm advocate of silica wick and Kayfun style attys, I've tried genesis attys but in spite of regularly coiling up my Diablo, and other genesis types, I just can't get on with them and have finally thrown in the towel; again I've experimented with cotton but keep coming back to silica, I just can't get up any enthusiasm for cotton and have pretty much stopped bothering.
As to the future, I am awaiting a Taifun GT, lots of mesh to use up, and a Penny clone, I have my eye on a Mor Cran and black Squape R and the 10 - 11ml 26650 tank size seems very appealing, given that I'm already considered to be somewhat eccentric, walking around Glasgow with a 26650 mod doesn't phase me at all; finally, inspite of repeated attempts I just haven't been able to get into dripping and may just try a 360 set up at some stage.
So thank you everyone for your inspiration and hopefully I will become a more active participant in the future.

Following my previous thread I considered all the helpful advice and decided on an ego t ce5 900mah starter kit from vapeland and I'm delighted. It arrived Tuesday, ordered Sunday night, and I haven't looked back; it's everything I hoped and more; I think, after many years of nrt and an equal number of failures, that now I can safely say that the analogues are firmly in my past, I really enjoy vaping.
The only problem, apart from discovering the perfect e-liquid, is that, again following on from the very helpful previous thread, I visited Emporium Vapour at the Glasgow Forge and discovered the Vamo, I do like bright shiny things and with a daughter in university I need to be careful, still I like baked beans.:-)

Hi everyone, I'm Paul from Glasgow.
I've recently statred vaping and am currently using vapourlites, unfortunately whilst I like them I find the battery life to be very poor; although I wouldn't fault their customer service as they've sent me replacement batteries and other parts with no hesitation.
Anyway I've decided to upgrade and having read the various posts on this wonderful forum have come down to 2 possibilities: the evod 650 or the riva 1100; I'm tending towards the riva the only problem being that vapeescape are waiting for stock.
I'd be grateful for any thoughts or suggestions as to my choice or indeed any suggestions for alternatives.
Thanks
Paul
