Maybe the juice is too thick? Try putting 10% vodka or deionised water in it? Just test a small amount and see if it makes a difference. Certainly sounds as though the wick isn't feeding the coil quick enough with that particular juice.

Can I just confirm you are using a cig look-a-like and not one of their branded ego batteries. If its a lookalike then the Riva will see you right, if it's the ego type, go for a spinner which is a variable voltage battery (the next upgrade before mods). I know, vaping for me is sooo easy, it feels like cheating as such. It's brilliant, I know for a fact, without e-cigs I would still be heading for an almost certain early death and very poor health!
