ECCA are using a new system to raise issues, concerns or ask questions. Follow the link and create a new ticket. It will then be sent to the relevant team who are best positioned to reply. www.eccauk.org/support/

If anyone else would like to come forward also then feel free. We can either have a straight vote between you 2 (or more) either on here or at the AGM II or we can look at other roles you could do within ECCA. If anyone would like to put themselves forward, or wish further information or interested in any roles, please open a new ticket here www.eccauk.org/support/ .

Thanks womble. I have notified the committee, and at the AGM take 2 there will be a vote, just like there is for every forum rep.

CASAA is a great organisation and have managed to get alot of funding too! Now I am unsure what their policies are, but to become a similarly organised organisation is something we are actively trying to achieve!

Why did the current rep quit? The current forum rep had to step down due to upcoming conflict of interest that he didn't foresee when he accepted/nominated himself for the role.

I am currently the treasurer. I know I haven't been vaping long, however this is something I enjoy and thought I could donate an amount of my time for ECCA.
ECCA currently are looking to be a go to organisation for consumers. We are also going to be putting an amount of effort in fighting the EU and MHRA and generally getting the facts out to people not in the know.
We have gone though a small overhaul recently and since then the new committee are ploughing alot of time and effort looking into ways to make it easier for consumers on a number of levels.
We have a new forum, and a new website soon to go live. As everyone agreed the current one is well, a mess!
Unfortunately I can't say much more at the moment, but I can assure you that things have changed massively behind the scenes and we would welcome anyone who will be able to help.
Now I know most of the views around ECCA are negative, but hopefully in the coming weeks you will be able to see that a new ECCA has been born!

Calling all members of AAEC.
Unfortunately our current rep has had to step down from his role. So we are looking for someone that will primarily air the views of forum members to the committee.
I would also like to add that the new ECCA committee are already moving forward and are expecting to role out a few things in the coming weeks, so we are far more active than it has been previously.
So if you want to be the voice of AAEC then please post here, or send me a private message.
Thanks!

I think I am right in saying they are identical, the only difference is with the ego-twist or the Riva spinner. The spinner is easier to read, and the 1100 spinner is fatter and shorter than the ego counterpart.
Good luck, and keep us updated. And yeh the main reason I took the plunge (after trying nearly all NRT's) is that my grandad was diagnosed with lung cancer.

I'm gillas here. I would politely explain what e-cigs are and how they work, but if someone says no, then I will respect that.
If we all got arrogant and think we can vape where ever whenever we want, people will be anti vaping no matter what. We at the moment need to be tactful. Once they are in full receipt of the facts, they may well change their mind, but don't overreact if they don't.
And in the case of large chain stores, it's not down to the management in the shop. They could get in trouble by allowing a customer to break the companies policy.
We have to remember tobacco/smoking has become more and more taboo over the years. If e-cigs were to be as big as they are now, say 10 years ago it would be so much easier. But unfortunately the governments have done such a good job in making it wrong to smoke socially, it will take a lot to remove alternative nicotine products from the taboo subject of tobacco.
So in short, be polite and respect others wishes until vaping has become normalised.

Im lucky as my bricks and mortar shop is predominantly an online shop, and has been tagged on to a computer shop. Best of both worlds, pop along and pick up supplies (although now its only T2's I get from him now) and get online prices

Linda Mcaven is the woman mentioned the other day, who was very anti e cigs at the EU meeting videoed and posted on here. She would certainly not be of any help to us, but this guy sounds very helpful. He says he works closely with her. Maybe we should get him to put cyanide in her tea. Linda McCaven is the MEP forcing the TDP through. And no doubt pharma and tobacco companies have her in their back pockets. (No facts have been seen, this of course just my opinion and not in any way meant to be taken as truth).

What a great email. And the amount of understanding he has for the issue. Which was all down to us making ourselves heard.
And I agree that mass emails of a similar or the same template would be useless. I will be doing another round of emails later this week to see if I get less copy and paste jobs and some 'real' replies.
And as he says Labour are the ones that want to keep money in the government to try and rectify their poor money management in the past.

I would like to announce that the new ECCA forum is now accepting registrations. This is the link www.eccauk.org/forumI would like to apologise for the amount of time it was down, there were issues that weren't foreseen. We are also currently working on a glitch that means those using Opera or Safari as browsers are unable to log in. We look forward to hearing your feedback!

That was just one particular brand, a few members on here pulled apart some used cartos and didnt see much of what was found in that study.
All we found were burnt bits. I hope that clears it up.

They are just starting to sell Gamucci brand?
I have never heard of them but £6.99 for 3 tips is in between E-Lites and 10 motives.
