Frankly, though, if you're going to spend about twenty quid, you might as well get a Twist or Spinner. They aren't as variable as a twist or spinner, with only 3 settings 3.0, 3.5 or 4.0. However at £20 you get 3 x 650 mah batteries (I think I read that right). So if you get new heads to match up either of those voltages to get the same/similar wattage to what your vaping now, it could work.

As I say MarkS maybe I'm just being melodramatic and we should welcome this, and maybe they will use their expertise in law and background,(in fighting the US government on the same issue) to help fight the EU. That is of course if they decide to move to the UK market. I do still think MEP's will look at the 45mg/ml and think, "I thought the average is 18mg and this company has almost the majority of the US market. So will the the norm become 45mg not 18?"

There are a lot of things being "quoted" in Brussels, most of them wrong. Personally I am more interested in getting cigarette smokers into the vaping scene than being politically correct with the Sprouts that work in Brussels. There have been a number of Chemicals banned by Brussels and subsiquently also banned by the UK Government, but they are still available from certain suppliers because they are still for sale in the USA. Now far be it for me to even suggest that such a thing would happen to Nic Base (????) but where there is a need, there will always be a way. A year ago I would have agreed with you, maybe even 6 months. But with the new TPD due in September this product wont bring in enough new vapourers to outweigh the negatives. If it had been a year ago I would have said let's bring it on, the more the merrier (I do still think that), but with Njoys coming on to the scene what we are fighting for is almost like a moving goal post. We are saying 18mg/ml is normal, most pre-filled cartos have between 16-24mg/ml in them. Suddenly we now have to defend a carto holding nearly double that top end, being sold in garages, pubs/clubs, supermarkets etc. Even if Njoys don't come over right now, they have made their intent known, and EU will see it that they will come over here, and take all the tax back to the US whilst not making any tax on tobacco (if that one of their agendas). Now I'm not saying to give up and stop chasing a red herring, as it most definitely isn't, and we should continue to work our hardest. Just that now the goal posts have moved, which may make it much tougher to sway the undecided MEP's. Or maybe I am just being melodramatic

There are vapers on here that use 45mg e-juice. Indeed I have seen a video review that recommends smokers when first coming off cigarettes use e-juice as high as 45mg in the initial stages, especially if they can only grab a few tokes now and then. I personally have 30mg and 36mg e-juices for use on certain occasions. I would rather see wannabe ex-smokers trying e-cigs and finding them almost overpowering, than the more usual scenario where they are completely underwhelmed by them and return to smoking cigarettes in disgust. Appreciate where you're coming from, but 45mg is a massive jump from 18mg which is what has been quoted as 'the norm' to the EU. The uneducated are going to see that and scream "INFIDELS !!!!" This! Especially as the EU can't see facts from blatantly falsified documents! This is just another reason why the EU will ban it. At the moment they are erming and arghing whether 18-36mg/ml is dangerous, and that is not the 'norm' and not easily sourced in premixed form, and not available in pre-filled. (The higher bracket) With these you would have pre-filled cigarettes, very easily accessible, and have almost the majority of the US market stating "we will make tobacco obsolete" and these have a level of nic content higher than what less than 5%(?) of the vaping community at 45mg/ml! I'm sorry but I think Njoy now have just put the final nail in the coffin for vapers across Europe! So what pharmacy stocks the best quality e-liquid

There have been a couple of murmurs, I don't think they were UKIP MEP'S.
But as far as UKIP are concerned they don't want anything to do with the EU and suggest anything possible to try and make the EU look bad, and therefore receive votes from people that the EU have directly effected.
I'm not saying that Godfrey is incorrect, but just take anything UKIP say with a pinch of salt.

Not another f*cking cig-a-like! And with 45mg of juice, just what we need with us saying the average user uses 18mg juice!

8 years someone said somewhere. And as far as nic goes, then yes it will more than likely be stopped at customs similar to drugs are. But that would be down to English Government I think and not an EU matter (again I could be wrong)
You may be able to buy it from a chemist or from the Drs but I'm not confident on that, and it may only be pre-filled cartos that will be allowed.
This is the problem at the moment, no-one knows what the final outcome would be, but if the legislation gets passed, then I would go for the worst possible scenario and expect to get nic base from the black market, which would then be totally unregulated.
If a mod is reading this, this thread maybe be better placed in the campaign section of the forum?

Thanks for your input guys, going to hunt down some suitable links to relevent studies or is there a list of links already listed ECCA would be a good place. Tonnes of links to studies there. But I would rather post him Martin Callanan's email, and maybe Cc Martin you could also add Martins email to that email. I doubt if he is that far out of touch will want to know, but sending him links to studies won't help IMO.
