DiscoDes - is it a 'no-vaping' venue? ??? Don't see anyone vaping or clouds of vapour. (Few folk holding mods, but that's about it )

JayJDon't worry too much about the terminology for the moment - you'll pick it up sharpish. For now as long as you put the wotzit on the thingummybob, press the button and get vapour out of the doo-dah, you're doing well. Just don't break the clack-return-spring You definitely need another thingummybob (battery), and probably another wotzit (which Andy pointed out is a clearo), & if you throw a backup charger into the mix, you come up with this for £7 + p&p - it's a good cheap little set-up - I'm vaping homebrew blueberry on mine as I type. Another thing you need to know, rather than learn the hard way - have backups, and backups for your backups

Dan - any particular reason you want the one that comes with the kit? Not sure what they're made of, but Pluid melted mine

bigjim - have you got either replacement heads or wick & wire (to rebuild) in your master plan? The wicks will gunk up at some point, and start to taste funky. If you choose replacement heads over wick & wire, do not throw out your used heads. You may turn your hand to rebuilding them at a later date, or someone somewhere will make use of them But you will need to replace or rebuild in the not so distant future. Oh, & Kudos to you. If only everyone did as much research as you have - you've got yourself off to a winner's start

Right, I have ordered a couple of the blister pack ones to give it a try, fingers crossed I can do it! Good choice. Did you order some juice as well?

Well, I like the look of the ones you linked to but am a bit daunted by the technicalities - if I were to get one of those, is it super fiddly to fill it up? How often do you have to fill it? And how often do you clean it out? I am thinking back to my student days when we used to do something *similar* to vaping (ahem!) and the mess was a nightmare! I answered those questions 1 post previous & Chrissie posted a video on filling the clearo 2 posts back It's really easy & really quick. Cleaning is nothing like your student contraption - quick wash, quick dry, refill, &........ vape!

missbunburyWell done - you've made the first step & come here (well, 2nd step as 1st was skycigs) Yes - you can get prefilled cartos - my experience - might as well suck on a boiled sweet As for filling a clearo - can you tie your own shoelaces? If yes, go for clearos. They're easier to fill than tying shoelaces and it takes about 7 1/2 seconds to do. Get clearos with replaceable heads - evods already mentioned are a good choice. When the flavour goes a bit funky, replace the head - that takes about 12 1/2 seconds. Getting angry and puzzling over other stuff always takes over a minute, so you're on a winner with clearos. For the amount you smoke, I would guess that you'd need to refill a clearo every 2-3 days and replace the head, bit more difficult to judge, but depending on flavour, every week to every 3 weeks ??? As you can see, the refillable/replaceable route does not take much time, & I'm sure you'd get a better vaping experience. The blister pack from paradisevape (previously linked) along with a bottle of juice would be a good cheap choice, to see how you get on Good Luck

I have a Riva 1100 kit and also a blister pack. To be fair, the battery from the blister pack performs equally as well as the Riva 1100 batteries, except they dont last quite as long. The CE4 clearo in the blister pack is not rebuildable or have replaceable heads, so is very much a disposable item. Evod clearos are great, but have no experience of their batteries.
You can use an evod clearo on a blister-pack battery. Anything you get with a 510 or ego connection will be compatible with anything else with those connections.
