I have to admit that I've fallen for all the hype surrounding the I Hybrid. Is a UK vendor going to stock them? Pink-Mule look like the only European vendor to be stocking them. Hi Pezz Can you give us a link? This is all I could find on pink mule. That's all I know, that they will be stocking them. Have no idea when it will happen though. |

You can get your nicotine in PG or VG. It is just the base liquid and makes no difference to the nicotine.
I think VG on its own does have a slightly sweet taste so this could effect the flavour of your juice if you were trying to get a very delicate flavour.
However, the better mixers in this world use all sorts of different flavourings to get their juices to taste the way they want it.
PG gives better flavour and throat hit
VG gives better vapour
That's why most juices contain a mix of both.

Over the first couple of months vaping I definitely noticed an improvement in taste - Like a lot of people I experienced vapours-tongue where it did not matter what I used it all tasted nasty. Lasted a few weeks and was a bit of a struggle to keep vaping, but in the end I used the time to use up some flavours that I wasn't particularly enjoying even when I could taste the juice.
I'd definitely try lowering nicotine and have a few different flavours on the go so you can switch out to something completely different.
DIY is great - It's letting me enjoy vaping as a hobby without going mad buying shiney things. I suggest making lots of 5ml samples, vary the PG/VG content and mix a few up at 24mg to see how you get on with them.

I open them and take the droppers out for maximum exposure and leave on a windowsill. No little people or pets here though. Sent from my Nexus 7 I don't think a windowsill is a good idea. Sunlight and high heat are both bad for eliquid. As a newbie mixer my current steeping method has involved carrying it around with me and testing regularly, about 3ml per day. I did discover that this method isn't the best  Now I do several bottles of the same flavour so I can have one on the go and have another ready when it's finished. In a few weeks time I'll always have some steeped juice in the cupboard. I don't leave the caps off as I know I'll either knock them over or lose the lid. |

Tried with ekowool but just ended up with a small heap of fibres.
Guess that my wick is too big (Insert appropriate comment here)
Trying again I've got an ok cape using a cable wick and ribbon wire.
For me the next step will be switching out the centre post screws for a spring and washer. This is supposed to help reduce the hot spots at the top of your coil by reducing the gap between your wick and the centre post.
There's an excellent thread on here somewhere that shows you how to do a U wick with silica. It was my very first set up and worked a treat.
