This is due to the contact resistance of the bottom cap, maybe you could try it with contact paste. I had the problem with my ZMax RMS at the bottom cap. Have cleaned the cap with alcohol and then the thread with contact paste rubbed one. Sun has gotten better contact and 0.2 volts more.

I use to wick the AGA rather flat Kanthal 0,5 x0, 1 mm 7 or 8 wicks is 2,0-2,2 Ohms. This is not as susceptible to burn out at hot spots. And most important, it brings great steaming and super flash.

So my vaping mods are ZMax RMS from sigelei in stainless steel , Vamo in stainless steel ,some telescope mods (purchased and homemade)and i vaping wiht DCT dual coil, AGA-T & W,Phönix driper and many more. and sorry i can not upload pictures here.
