Oh the plastic kits should be fine you just have to be careful when building.
Steeljan managed a VV Elmo mod if I remember correctly using a cheap plastic toy.

Oh and I should mention she is basically one of Mr Millibands secretaries. A career politicians in a quite safe seat who doesn't need to do much actual constituency work as she is busy doing her bosses work.

Just be careful, many of those toys are made of very cheap plastic and might not survive surgery easily.

In every contact I requested a face to face and got fobbed off, apparently labour are too busy attempting to lose votes than to meet with lowly voters who can't get them photo opportunities or press worthy coverage. They may well start getting press coverage over our story though if loads of them don't start engaging, but I doubt coverage they'd want.

I started vaping at 1300 on the day the first e cig arrived. At about 2200 I spoiled all my smoking supplies and threw them away. The only smoke I have inhaled since has been second hand.

if I receive no response I am going to hand deliver it to her constituency office.
She doesn't seem to answer many people at all and conveniently for her has a mainly rural constituency and always seems to hold surgeries in the hard to reach tiny village halls. Many held in Stirling itself get cancelled as things "crop up".

So after the last couple of template replies I have written a much more detailed scathing email to my MP Anne McGuire Labour.
I was as polite as I could be considering how angry the lack of concern (mainly from her party) we have received from politicians about our plight.
It ended up being 2300 words and encompassed all my issues with the EU TPD and the MHRA.
I also mentioned she'd better respond personally and gave a time constraint since the legislators are already in action. I also gave my preference,in detail, for what needs to happen to the legislation.
If I get no reasonable response (and I made sure to specify what I thought that was) I will probably send it on to various press as non-engagement with a constituents concerns would be her primary concern since she is supposed to be representing me.
