I had a great time at Vapefest with only a few niggles.
£2.50 for a can of coke and you'd have to queue twice. When i asked why you had to get a token I was told it was quicker that way..... Let me see.... stood at a bar with no queue to buy a can of pop, and it's quicker to queue for 5-10 mins to buy a piece of paper to hand to the barman, i think not.
Needs a bigger venue, stood for nearly 20 mins just to glimpse over someones shoulder at cloud 9.
And i was utterly disgusted to hear about the disability access issues.
Aside from that a great day out, and shineyitis only struck twice.

I do think one of the best things we can all do is vape openly in public, but politely. We need it to become normal, the more people that have seen vaping in progress with as many different devices as possible, then the safer we become in the long run. Don't be shy, come out from behind the bike sheds with your PV held high  To be fair when I was in hospital for 2 days at the start of June I asked if I could use an ecig on the ward and was also told I could. If only I had 20 ego starter kits with me I could have sold them all. I always ask if I can vape and if told no thank them anyway. Also if someone near to me asks me to stop I will. |

Just walked in to my local costa as I needed a good hit of caffeine and politely asked if I could use an ecig, at which point the member of staff asked the manager. Thinking I was going to be refused due to the staff members lack of knowledge, I was pleasantly surprised that the manager not only allow it but also went on to pull a provari out of his pocket and asked what flavour I was vaping.
A five minute chat ensued over a coffee as he was just going on his break. Great news and hope other branches are as understanding.
The costa in question is in ashby de la zouch.

Ah just noticed its a NetBook and the USB port may not be pushing enough current. It may be worth trying connecting a powered USB hub into it and then the evic in to the hub. I've had the odd device giving problems like that as the USB port only pushes 5v at not much current leading to bad installs
