Ok so i have taken the plunge and received my order of wire and wick today. Going to rebuild my Vivi heads this weekend, wish me luck! Going to try combinations of wick 1-3 strands of 2.5 and 3mm. I am sure it's on here but can someone tell me how many wraps to get about 2 ohms using .2 kanthol on a vivi head? I am thinking it will be 3-4. (I am being a bit lazy here!

I moved up to a Vamo v2 from the ego batteries about 2 months ago and I love it. For me personally in the shorty setup it feel very comfortable and and can be quite subtly if held right. I use this setup during the day but of an evening I put the extension and the 18650 in and it's also great. I love the vw option and use that all the time now. I spoke to Toni at uk ecig Cabin and she put me together a "starter pack" of the Vamo, 2 X small batteries, 1 X 18650 and a good charger. Some people have complained about the finish wearing but I can honestly say I haven't suffered from this and I have the black chrome and not a scratch yet!

Hi promark omarkomark, I got mine from eBay, but actually turns out to be Stealth vape. I ordered oenix for this morning and have received an email this evening to say it was posted at 3pm today so can't complain about that. Looking forward to giving this recoil lark ago. Especially as it seems my Vivi's flavour suddenly seems to have gone down hill, both of them Still looking for opinions on whether it's better to fray or not to frayI tried both, I used novas for almost 8 months, it made zero difference. I used to think novas were the be all and end all until I tried Evods recently, now they are the be all and end all now lol. Thanks Simate, i will try unfrayed to start on my rewicks. I have seen evods them mentioned in some posts today and will look them up. Also considering a pheonix for dripping but what to get used to rewicking first. Decisions, decisions!

I really must go buy some wire and wick and stuff. More faffage... I have just ordered my first lot of wick and wire and "attempt" to redo my Vivi nova heads and I was wondering the same thing, 2.5 or 3mm I went with both (lol) and. 20 kanthol. Hopefully it will arrive at the weekend and I can give it a go. I also carp fish so i figure it will can't be anymore fiddly than tying carp rigs. Trouble is there is almost too much info out there Mr. Phil B. Suggests 3 lengths of 2.5, someone on here suggests 1 length of 3mm Decisions decisions? So I'll try both and see what works best. But if I can ask a question, is it better to unravel the wick or leave it as a single string if you know what I mean(after its in the head obviously) ? Up til now I have been unravelling it. Also from a numbers perspective the wick and wire cost £10 and there is enough wick to make up about 40 heads which if I bought new would be about £100!

Thanks guys I knew I was asking in the right place! I'm in no rush so i will look at what you've suggested and let you know if I have some more questions or what I finally choose. On the coil side haven't started on that yet but is on my to do list for this month, starting with the coils on my Vivi. I will be looking at the tech thread to see best place to buy kanthol and wick! I think I understand the process theoretically but in practise it might be a whole didn't ball game lol

While I have been vaping for about 16 months now I have only used ego type tanks initially and then vivi's for the last 4-6 months. I'm now starting to try loads of different flavours of liquid and have heard dripping is a good way to test then. Tbh I'm getting bored of have to clean the vivi to get a fresh start for a new flav. So what would people suggest I use? Currently using a Vamo v2 and I have 4 ego batteries one of which is a spinner. I saw on alchemist cupboard some bridgeless attys is this all I would need with a drip tip. Any advise welcome. Thx

Hi Mike welcome to the "family" I'm also going to try rewicking my Vivi novas this month. Not really for economical reasons but I have 4 vivi's and they all take slightly different attys, so figured it would be easier to do mine own than trying to explain to a vendor exactly what attys I need:-) let us know how you get on.

Like you guys I have ordered from Mr Frogster for the first time last week. Tried to be patient and but ended up sampling the apple and blackcurrant (12mg). Wasn't totally enthused initially, found it was a bit perfumey. But have let it steep more now 5-6 days in and it tastes amazing. Very happy and could well be my all day vape. Not too heavy, nice flavour (not bang in your face but fairly subtle) and not noticing any perfumey bits. Got the rhubarb and custard steeping and really looking forward to that. To steep it I have had it on my desk with the top off and every hour I give the bottle a squeeze to change the air. Also put it in my pocket when walking about (with top on) and that has helped. So it has agitated, heated and air exchanged and it's done the trick. Mr Frogster I will be ordering more, it's awesome juice :-)

Where is the rhubarb and custard from? The guy that got me into vamping used to get it from TW but they stopped producing it. He said it was one of the best flavours he had had

I have recently found Vapology and also agree his blackcurrant is lovely. I'll be ordering that in a bigger size next time! Have also had spearmint (not overly keen initially but letting it steep for a bit to see how it changes) also had pear which is like pear drops. And mixing blackcurrant and pear was lovely! Just received some of his own concoctions of poached pear & blackcurrant honey drizzle, choc cookie with hazelnut and very berry cool. They are steeping at the mo but I'll let you know what I think once I've tried them. That is one thing with the Vapology juices they have to steep as they are freshly mixed! God I hate waiting lol
