I have tried Cubana and find it a bit "cigary" any suggestions of what to mix it with to tone it down somewhat? You could try something sweet to add to it. Caramels go very well with tobacco. If you want a more burnt caramal, FA is good but if you want a creamy, smoky caramel, TPA's Caramel Original will do the job. FW Salted Caramel is similar to that one too. Could also try a little EM in the mix but just a drop or two to start with.

Just an update on Cubana. Need to dry burn and rewick every 3ml with kanthal as the flavour starts to rapidly deteriorate and the coil/wick becomes a black mess.
Using a temp limiting mod, I can get over 10ml Cubana through a nickel coil (set at 220c and 13.5W) before i get any flavour degradation and will happily vape a bit more than 10ml through it as it's not a rank taste like with kanthal after 3ml.

DAB is great if the signal is good but there are a couple of stations I listen to that haven't made it to DAB yet. It's tough finding a small radio that has both DAB and MW which is what i want.

Cubana is one of my favourites and definitely the best tobacco I've tried. Much prefer it to Primo Verde which to me is ashtray flavour.
Pity Cubana's a coil gunker though. I need to dry burn and change wick approx every 3ml but imo it's worth the hassle.

Thanks VapingBad tim:) More often than not, I'll be making the coil on a former and threading cotton through so I'll go for the tempered. It is all a bit confusing, especially with VMC stating their softer wire is tempered and annealed!

Hi, Getting my DNA40 mod very soon but a touch confused as to which is the ideal Ni200 to use. I'll only be making single coils and wicking with Muji cotton, mainly for the kayfun but also for drippers. There's tempered, annealed, tempered+annealed. Stealtvape's site says tempered is best for cotton, annealed is better for silica/voodoowool. VMC's nickel is tempered AND annealed. So i'm a touch confused as to what the ideal type of nickel I should be buying! Any help appreciated! lem

phatfil Thanks. I had a look at their site and there wasn't much in it tbh. Colouredbottles seemed to have a larger range of options so I filled a basket with their wares

Thanks Perpetua. As much as i hate social media, I've just taken a look at spaceface and twatter but nothing there unfortunately. Pity as there are boxes for discount codes at cart/checkout stages but there are buggerall codes offered!! It's possible they send personalised codes to existing customers.

Thanks you ceedee:) I've been weight mixing since I started DIY and ended up making my own calculator in excel for the job. It's good to see developers catering for us better now!! I'll check it out. Thanks
