That Highland Mint toffee sounds delicious! Cheers bro! Getting the balance was tricky, the mint really overpowers the toffee at first. A long steep does it good. I've actually toned down the caramel toffee volume, it used to be around 2.2ml But I guess everyone takes rough volumes from recipes and puts their own twist on it for their tastes some may like it with more caramel or less mint. Plus everyone has different brands of flavour and base; also vaping through different setups. Looking forward to feedback!

Never knew this, thanks for the tip Certainly works for regular clearomisers, I've had less chew with the protank. Probably due to its better airflow and bottom coil

Looks fiddly! Recently received a recoiled protank head in a trade with MarkS, he'd done it with ekowool. I'll have a go eventually but it looks difficult doesn't it?

2 months and over 50 mixes later I have a few I'm really happy with Here are 4 of them: The Green Tea benefits from 7-10 days steeping to allow the lemon flavour to mellow: Not so much steeping required: Did I imagine these? Very sweet toffee develops in around a week: Really stoked by Frogster (The Alchemist)'s Softmints but looked a bit heavyweight for me. This is my tribute to his recipe: Enjoy! I'd be grateful for an honest review if anyone tries them. I've also been mixing an absolutely superb recipe from MarkS. Hoping he'll give me the OK to put it into spreadsheet format for him

Cheers Mark a straight swap will be fine for an unused tank. What's the etiquette at AAEC? Do we do 'first to PM' or order of thread reply?

No problem just the protank will be fine + maybe a wee thing you could throw in to balance it up like a bit of juice or something? No worries if not, the RSST is just sat here waiting for an owner!

I use Vodka & water at 50%/50% to thin my VG when mixing. (I only vape 100% ish VG DIY) Dont forget Vodka will lower the temp at which your juice evaporates. That sounds even better, nice one Jim. About your sig: how did you get SS in a protank? Are you a surgeon with a nanobot or something?

Will post pics soon, I have an RSST I'm not using in excellent condition with approx 1m of 3mm silica and 4 gauges of kanthal (approx 50cm 0.16mm and 0.18mm, less of 0.20 and 0.25mm). Also a spare o-ring I think but will double check.
Ideally would like a Kanger protank and a few spare heads but would also accept cash.
Cheers!

Probably a well-known tip, but nothing much came up in the search so thought I'd share anyway. I love GVC but have been having problems with the high viscosity leading to clogging atomiser airways and burned hits / poor taste.
Adding 1-2 drops of vodka for every 4-5ml seems to solve this

It would be a foolish political move to damage vaping businesses with a complete ban. There are in the region on a million vapers in the UK and VAT revenue alone from this will be substantial. I expect taxes are in the post
