I read a recipe for tea infusion, forget which thread now. Might be this one. Think it was as simple as tea in PG in microwave for 10 mins.

Really? Is this just a unanimously well known fact? If so, why do vendors sell a variety a gauges?

I have been searching but not read anything so far. Sorry if I'm re-treading here...
Has anyone noticed any significant difference in vapour production or taste winding longer coils with bigger diameter over shorter coils with smaller diameter for a fixed resistance coil?
I have tried both and may be imagining it but seem to prefer a longer thicker wire coil - I imagine the increased surface area produces more vapour.
In other words, say you wound a 2 Ohm coil - can you notice the difference between a narrow-short coil vs a thick-long coil?

oh god I thought I had it there with the first hose analogy. now confused again. Does the thinner hose not just squirt it out faster? Andy It might be better to imagine a mountain lake feeding a river. I find this better when working with physics students. Voltage = steepness of the mountain. Current = flow rate of water in river. Large current = hot wire! A steeper mountain gives a higher flow rate but this is constrained by the width of the river. A wider river allows a higher flow rate. Then the resistivity of the wire can be taken into account. Imagine copper wire as a very smooth bottomed river. Not as much steepness is required to get a large current flowing so the wire will get hotter at lower voltages. A high resistivity wire such as kanthal or nichrome is like a rocky-bottomed river so requires higher voltages to get a big current flowing and consequently will not get as hot. Why not use copper then? There needs to be a decent load for the battery to work on otherwise power is dissipated from the battery itself and this can lead to wasted energy, hot battery and maybe shorter battery life. This is called 'voltage drop' and is caused when the internal resistance of the battery is significant compared to the resistance of the load. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, I was searching for the effect of increasing wire diameter while decreasing length of a coil at constant resistance and couldn't resist being an annoying physics nerd

i think ill start with just some simple fruit flavor, planning on steeping my own tobacco concentrates also.. what really excites me is the prospect of bringing some savoury-esk notes to vapes.. im thinking beetroot or fennel types. also thinking herb infusions or teas.. dont know how to go about it as of yet.. still need to find my feet!! Still, the sky is the limit!! ive got some links to interesting reading on flavor similarity on a molecular level.. need to dig those out! Savoury huh? You should give this a go then. It's kinda sweet and savoury at the same time. A bit like digestive biscuit tobacco, sounds rank but very clever.

I have a small bottle of it that I bought from Des. It is really lovely, but its very pricey. I keep meaning to start trying to mix up something similar, but I have been so busy with other things lately I haven't got round to it. It is a very strong flavour. I was advised to dilute it down, but both me and WHUTD71 (Rich) think its good as it is. Yeah I read your other thread about absinthe and black and mixed some up cos it sounded nice I used 2ml DV absinthe 11mg 100%VG and one drop of F'arts blackcurrant. Tastes great, has improved the absinthe thanks!

Man this stuff is EPIC! Bright green, supplied in a funky elliptical bottle with excellent artwork matching his website. Very professional presentation, just like his customer service and forum presence. I went for 30ml each of 12mg and 24mg 50:50. I mix half/half to get 18mg. Vaping in an Igo-L wound with silica and kanthal @ 2ohms. Lots of aniseed and liquorice I think, with thirst-quenching-but-difficult-to-identify fruitiness you have to try this!

Never a good idea to allow iframes in a forum open to public. Can be used to execute malicious code on unwitting users machines. Didn't know that, just a thought anyway...

It's for inserting things like interactive excel spreadsheets. Thought it would be a good idea since we do a lot of that! Here's a ropey looking example I threw up on one of my websites just now while working on a recipe spreadsheet. It requires HTML code but I understand there is a proboards add-on which allows bbcode iframes. Excel iframe example

Would it be possible for us to have the iframe bbcode enabled here at AAEC?

Ah yeah makes sense. Should I not offer to send samples out then, just share the recipe?

Cheeky question here sorry, fancy trading some of that Boba's 12mg for equivalent Grants Vanilla Custard? (received today, I've got 12 and 18mg).

Thanks Perpetua received and very grateful need to make a picture for it now! I'm going to make a few 5ml samplers at the weekend to mail out in exchange for a review. Do we have a dedicated thread for DIY swap shop? Can't see one, might be missing it

Looks like it all went in under 24h!
I have 60ml on the way (30ml 18mg / 30ml 12mg) so if anyone wants 10ml (any strength from 12-18mg I can mix it to strength) I will be happy to mail it to you.
