I mix my standard base (vg and nic) in a 500ml bottle using a measuring cylinder. I drip the flavour into a smaller bottle and fill up with base. It's not as exact, but it is close enough and means there is nothing to clean

For starter kits then Kanger is a good brand to look for. Both the evod and emow kits are a good place to start.

The aspire premium kit is an even better bet imo, although more expensive, it is worth it.

Liquid use per day is very personal, the extremes would be 1ml or 10ml a day. Go for the higher nicotine range as then you will naturally vape less, and are much more likely to find it easy to walk away from the stinkies.

Usb charging is a convenience that I personally like. There is nothing wrong with ego connection charged batteries other than a slight inconvenience. If you want a usb charged battery then the Mvp kit (get one with the iClear16s) has always been popular, despite being bigger. It may be worth making up your own starter kit if you like usb charging, there are a few batteries out there worth having, the cheapest being the iStick. For the atomiser to go on top, The aspire BVC coil system is the best on the market for no faff, ease of use.

If you like faffing then there are even more options around, but they are probably best left for a few weeks until you understand the basics.

It is confusing in the beginning, but it doesn't take long to get familiar with it all. DON'T over buy anything in the beginning even if you love it. DO ask here about any problems. DO expect it to be slightly expensive in the beginning as you are very likely to make some dud purchases no matter how much you research, this will decrease rapidly once you settle in, and unless you go loco will never cost more than smoking. Once you find the system and liquid that works for you the costs are very low, especially if you start mixing your own liquid (this is, of course assuming that you don't catch the dreaded shinitis )

I got the adapter with the plinth from HG. It's a great little thing. The 510 on the device itself is fine with all but one of my attys. It doesn't wobble it's just extremely difficult to screw in, and then I wish I hadn't bothered as it's twice as difficult to screw off again :/ I've got a full sized nauty on it with the adapter and a beauty cone/ring thingy. Looks kinda good actually, despite the urge to say things like "beam me up scotty." whist using it

Vamos have been popular for a long time, and having batteries you can charge separately to the actual device has advantages. Make sure you get decent 18650 batteries for it if you want it to last all day.

3 of virtualvape's coils should last you a few months unless you do something daft to them. I'm not sure how much cotton wool Virtual Vape sends out with his coils. Because I recoil my own since he started up I've never bought coils from him. Cotton wool isn't difficult or expensive to find though
