Postie came today with yet another parcel for someone else ....but then he came BACK!!! Finally the proud owner of an svd and back to vaping the way it should be! Tracking stayed at 'shipped to overseas' from 23rd feb until last night when it changed to 'arrived at destination country.' That's a looooong flight! For a while there I was convinced my mod was on flight 370. One positive came out of this and thats discovering this tracking app for android: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.orrs.deliveriesYou just add your numbers and it tracks them for you. Hadnt checked for a few days till I got the status change alert last night.

Don't want to worry you anythintreet but my last order from ft (6/1/14) took nearly 7 wks from being 'recently dispatched' to arriving. I also had a couple of orders last year that never materialized tho tbf once I raised the issue they issued 'Gift certificates' almost immediately. It might be worth your while investing in another cheap ego or similar from a UK vendor whilst you wait! (If you aren't in a position to do so, pm me your address and I'll send you one to borrow) Very kind offer dagl, but there's a corner shop about 150m away that sells really dodgy knockoff ego batteries for £3. They keep firing without cutting off after 10seconds and have sticky firing buttons (leading to a few very warm pocket/burny leg situations) and they usually last about a fortnight before dying but they're keeping me ticking over. mines still saying dispatched to GB or not showing up at all depending on where I track. WHERES MY TOYS!!!!!!!!

Ok, so I ordered an svd from FT on 9th February, they shipped on 17th, and it left for GB on 23rd. I heard somewhere that there's a time limit for a non-delivered refund so when should I raise a ticket?
My crippled vamo has officially died as of yesterday, I've got one very dodgy ego battery that lasts about 4 hours on a charge, and the posties still not been!

Thanks for the insight guys. I like the look of the sid Blownupdolly djs, pretty much a better looking vamo. but there looks to be conflicting info on the threading. Is it definitely only 510? My evods are the only things that work reliably (and the only thing I can recoil) Nearly £40 delivered from Uk ecig cabin though. Anyone know what the £25 fasttech clones are like? I just want something reliable Its between that or the svd kit with two iclear30s I reckon

So I've not been on AAEC or Fasttech since about October. My once champion now lame duck Vamo v2 that I never bothered to return is on its last legs and I'm going through cheap Egos like nobodys business, so it's time for a new mod. what's good these days? anything competing with the SVD for price and features? I want an electronic mod so I can check my coils, and I dont like box type or bottom firing. Something similar to the vamo/svd in class would be great. stamina persuaded me on the SVD last time we spoke, but if anyone's got any thoughts....

I'm yet to have a satisfactory experience with fasttech liquids. It's all dekang and hangsen and to me taste a bit artificial and bland. The worst I've had was the liqua vanilla, but the hangsen vanilla was actually quite nice after about a months steeping.
For the price though.....

Hope someone can help me with this one. It's a bit hard to describe:
i usually vape on 8.5-9.5w with 2.3-2.6ohm evods, ce4' vivis. I usually get a decent fug of vapour but since last night it's completely gone.
i was using a ce4 last night, took it off to refill, put it back on and the draw was completely different. Airy and weak. I took it off and tried an evod and it was the same. ALL of my clearos now draw like it was on about 3w with a very light vapour. I'm having to draw for about 3 times as long to get anything near what I used to. On top of that the satisfying 'rattlesnake' noise you get on a vamo with higher watts has gone completely. Of course the first thing I tried w upping the wattage but as per ususal anything above about 11.5 gives a burnt taste.
i use an ego/510 adapter to save the vamo threads and I took it off, gave everything a good vodka and cotton bud clean down, and tried with and without the adaptor and no difference. Then I thought it might be the battery but it still reads about 3.8v and I'm waiting for my other battery to charge to try that.
anyone got any idea what's going on?

anyone tried the oral b replacement toothbrush heads know if they any good? or are they as bad as the gillette razors? I've ordered some to try and they are apparently winging their way here (tracking as dispatched to overseas country as of 20th July). I can report back once I've got them if you like? I can confirm they do the job of scrubbing (not so) pearly whites. They might be a little softer than a fresh oral B but IMO they're still good and better than the imitation Asda ones (which are bristles only. Fasttech do the same ones as oral B which i like - with the little yellow polishing middle bit). For the price of the 4pack they're definitely worth it.
