Maybe the journalists think it's important because of what snooping THEY do on the web?  The security services use more than just our online activity to flag up potential suspects. We are caught on more cctv cameras than anywhere else in europe - but nobody even notices that anymore. ANPR cameras all over the road network can track us in our cars, they can get information from our mobile phone network providers that can track our movements to within 100m accuracy. But they don't care about us normal people who might occasionally download a pirated film, it takes up too much resources.......... i hope. |

Before you get to the pic posted by Raffles, you will get to here, junction 3A, just follow the middle option - M6 The N. West, B'ham.  Then you need to keep left to stay on m42/m6 then stick right in the M6 lanes But if there is a queue like that, it is well worth using the toll. I always use it as the M6 around the north of Brum is awful. In fact, I drove up and down it yesterday. The road is privately owned, so only some of the money goes to the government |

+1 for the wee boaby tanks - i liked the first one i got so much, i bought 2 more. Haven't even opened the 3rd. In fact all 3 are sitting redundant now I use rebuildable attys now.

Out of interest Romelee, how did you use your ultrasonic cleaner? I just made up some black liquorice (that always splits) into a plastic bottle, put it into my cleaner with hot water in it and ran it for 3 sets of 30 mins, and it didn't help the splitting (first time i tried it). I thought maybe using a glass bottle would transmit the waves better maybe?
