Used to have to see the hygenist every six months for a good scraping after each dental check-up. Haven't needed to go since started vaping nearly two years ago and three check-ups later. Haven't mentioned vaping to my dentist but after last visit he said "keep up the good work", so he's pleased with my teeth.

It's not the headline about selling ecigs to children that's the main issue today, we've got Richard Warry of BBC News at the side of the story on the website with "the contents of e-cigarettes can vary. Some have been found to contain toxic chemicals which are also found in tobacco, and have been linked to cancer", McKee on TV waffling about flavours and shite, Prof Dame Sally Davies with "E-cigarettes can produce toxic chemicals......" , and some dopey TV Doc Sarah Jarvis reviving the antifreeze lie on Sky TV. Lots of collateral damage done today with very little comeback

This from 2 years ago - www.nelincs.gov.uk/news/2012/jan/use-cigarettes-care-warn-trading-standards-officers/"There are also concerns that e-cigarettes may encourage young people to start smoking, particularly because of their novelty value and the common assumption that they are safe. The devices are not currently covered by any age restriction legislation, although some conscientious manufacturers voluntarily state on the product label that the items should not be sold to under-18s. Young people who start to use e-cigarettes could easily become addicted to nicotine and many will progress to smoking cigarettes as well as or instead of e-cigarettes" "Neil Clark, community protection manager, said: “....“The amount of nicotine and other substances a person gets from each cartridge may be uncertain and many people may not know how much nicotine they are taking in when using the devices. Different brands of e-cigarettes may deliver markedly different amounts of nicotine vapour with each puff,...." Exactly the same shite as they're saying today however 2 years down the line STILL no evidence of youth uptake of cigarettes via ecigs.

I've got a Rocket - www.fasttech.com/product/1481600-rocket-rebuildable-atomizer-kit-5ml, around £8.50, appears to be kayfun 3.1 clone. So good I've got two more on the way. Wee tuft of cotton and it vapes a treat. Got shockimgly poor attempt at a microcoil in it but no leaks or gurgling. Tried it with silica but way too fiddly, cotton just awesome. Terrific value IMHO.

Dr Ian Hudson became Chief Executive of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency in September 2013. In 2001 Ian Hudson defended Seroxat (Paxil) in a case where GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) were found guilty. - truthman30.wordpress.com/2013/11/11/dr-ian-hudson-mhra/2003 "Parmjit Dhanda, MP for Gloucester, is asking the Government why they allowed Dr Ian Hudson to take part in the European Medicines Evaluation Agency (EMEA)’s review of Seroxat. As well as working as worldwide safety director for GSK – the manufacturers of Seroxat – from 1999 until 2001, Dr Hudson acted as witness for the defence in a trial in which Seroxat was accused of triggering a man’s violent and suicidal behaviour." MHRA said "nothing to see here, please move along". Earlier this year (2003), a UK review into Seroxat was disbanded after it emerged many of the members held interests in GSK. Since 2001, GSK have paid Billions in fines, and been found guilty of numerous crimes of fraud and corruption - www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2167742/GlaxoSmithKline-pay-3b-fine-pleading-guilty-healthcare-fraud.html "A UK drugs firm has been hit with a $3billion penalty after admitting to the ‘biggest healthcare fraud in history’." GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSKCH) is the leading manufacturer of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) in the U.S., providing the brands recommended most by physicians (NicoDerm CQ, Nicorette Gum, Nicorette Lozenge and Mini Lozenge). Found all that in 5 minutes. All very depressing.

Thanks for that. Even if it's only a minor irritant to MHRA at least it shows we are on their case. One day we'll discover who is really behind this nonsense.

I got the aluminium tube Sentinel and the silver Sentinel M16 from Vaporbreak, about £20 all in. Sentinel was a bit rough on arrival, all scuffs, machine oil and swarf and no venting in 18350 mode however has a floating 510 pin so looks great in 18650 mode with AGA-T sitting snugly on the top. Coil at 1 ohm, vapes a treat. Brass section in middle dulls pretty quickly and feels rough but still for the price great value. Silver M16, Private V2 clone, also no venting in 18350 mode; just drilled a couple of holes and sorted. Switch a bit loose, mod wobbled about sitting upright and locking ring tends to move about but I've swapped out the spring and lots better. Fixed 510 pin however finish better than the Sentinel. No issues with 510 threads so far. So, both cheap, both with a couple of issues but both very usable mechanical mods that perform well.

Just got a couple from there, revived my ailing UDT-L. Extras ordered for forthcoming arrivals from China, Sentinel and M16 which appear to have aluminium threads. Great service from kraken by the way.
