Interesting thread. I have often wondered how to go about recovering the batteries out of a laptop pack. I have two dead hp laptops here that did not have battery problems so would it be worth trying and how do you go about it ? How many do you usually get ? Cheers guys.

ginge7289 I thought the zmax v3 could give an ohms reading ? Sure does. Had mine a couple weeks now. Loving it. 18650 battery lasts me all day from 6 till 6 probably longer too, yesit is a big metal lump but mine has been admired by loads of people both, vapers and non vapers and they were all impressed. my MVP v1 has been consigned to the back up status......

Sorry for hijacking, looking for a drip tank myself, does anyone do one with pre made wicks and coils available? Fasttech do a vast range of them all prewicked. The IGO-l and IGO-W are probably the best value. they also do packs of 3 and 10 premade wicks and coils Ah, I see now, similar to replacing coils and wicks in clearos with pre made ones. That's what I am looking for. Cheers muchly and cheers perpetua for the links, have to wait till she who must be obeyed goes to bed me thinks ..........

Hi Siffy. I started vaping back in June not with intention of quitting completely but with the idea of cutting down, I was smoking 200 grams of golden Virginia a week and it was getting expensive. I started with a couple of ego-t and ce4s but soon moved on to MVP and iclear 30 tanks. I have not had a stinkie since the end of July time and to tell the truth I don't miss them one bit. My breathing is better, I can taste food again and neither myself or my clothes stink like ashtrays anymore. Time will tell though but in the meantime I am happy sucking on my MVP and iclears or my new toy, zmax and davide mega I also got a mech mod to try, bought, from the classies here but need to get a couple of protected batteries for it. I will be watching your thread on the iclears closely because I am getting tempted with something rebuildable too. All the best to you.

Looks good with an iclear 30 on it too How big is the gap between mod and clearo davy? Does that flat top stop the gap? Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 I don't know whether this is correct operating procedure or not but, there is a section at the top of the body which you can screw up to your iclear or whatever. This then leaves a slight gap about a half inch down from the top of about approx 1.5 mm. I have found this useful as a simple method of adjusting airflow too. The slight gap does not bother me and I don't think it miss looks the mod but a nice thin stainless steel washer could easily be fitted. Looking at the gap again it's probably not as much as I have said. Hope this makes sense. :-)

I will +1 for MVP. Mine hangs out my gob nearly all day. Get about two to three days out of it normally. Mine is version one though..
