Thanks dreamylittledream the cool fire 4 looks great but I need something sharpish as I've only got my backup vamo to rely on, (every UK site I look on says coming soon). Must say the more I look at the iStick 50 due to its battery life the more I'm tempted, (over the iStick 30 anyway). Myepack have got them in today Ordered mine this evening *excite* Only been waiting about a month lol The istick50 is a great little mod though - its really ridiculously tiny to be packing a 4400mah battery and has that elusive nice feel factor in the hands (its the curves I tell thee the curves).

To give the counter point, the isticks admittedly don't exude the built like the proverbial outhouse for extreting in build quality but they are far prettier, daintier, lighter and more pocket sized than the slightly monolithic MVP 3.
The battery life on the 50w model in particular is phenomenal, and unlike its innokin rival it has lovely hand moulding curves and its a far more portable package.
Personal taste too but its far less fugly than the MVP.
However the new Coolfire 4 looks like a great marriage of innokin build quality and pretty looks - well I've ordered one anyway.

No leaks on mine - O rings are the biggest issue on all the Lemos - so easy to lose when cleaning

t.b.h. toots the concept of "sub-ohm" is irrelevant to me these days. A year ago, I might have made a 0.8 coil to use on a mech mod for some dripper vaping, but even that can now go on a 30w iStick. Clearly, if people want to vape (oh, I don't know..) maybe 20-25 watts or more, then the coil needs to be under 1.0ohm to make sense. I often find myself vaping the either the 1.2ohm and 0.5ohm at the same power. The 0.5 seems to be better for air, for me... but I don't need it for my style of vaping. Do you mouth to lung inhale? That could be an issue... quite a lot of the (fantastic) sub-ohm tanks on the market are direct lung inhale really. I don't really know if I mouth to lung inhale or do a direct lung inhale, probably mouth to lung inhale as I think that's what most people do. I tend to have my isticks at the lowest wattage of 6 watts - anything higher and it seems to give a burnt taste to me, but that is with either a 1.8 or a 2.1 ohms coil. I'm also not into blowing big clouds either - but what I do want is good flavour - that is key to me. You are mouth to lunging currently. These tanks need power to work well - 20w+ - it won't burn if wicking well trust me The flavour is much better lung inhaling but it takes a while to get used to it - once you crack it you won't vape any other way. Trust me lol

Right
Much as I would love a low cost holiday in Tenerrife, I'm probably not the person to ask with building tutorials (yes I can do it, but its not pretty and why bother when Slowtech can give you pre made coils for pennies)
But there is a big difference between the iclear16s that you are using now and a sub tank mini. And its not the ohms (been mentioned before now but on a VW mod the ohms are largely irrelevant - honestly if you gave me a 1.2ohm and a 0.5ohm sub tank coil I wouldn't be able to tell the difference at say 20w - because hey there isn't much pf a difference - the power being output should be the same).
The difference is the draw and the airflow. The sub tanks and indeed all the current crop of sub ohm tanks work on lung inhales. If you try and mouth to lung like you probably do now on an clear you will cough up a lung doing so. Now once you learn to draw differently (basically you just breathe in) a whole different world of vaping emerges and yes it does taste better and hits harder. But if you don't like it the sub ohm tanks are a waste of time.
Its all in the draw

Lemo mk1 sounds a good match for you Jane - the V2 is very much a sub ohm device but the original is basically an improved Kayfun with a 5ml tank. Its well made, easy to build on and the airflow can go from pretty tight to fairly airy.
Down sides are its a bit ungainly and 23mm diameter makes it protude on a tube mod

VV/VW tube mods do tend to be a bit on the long side - side effect of where the chip is.
The SVD 2 is a bit of an overlooked gem if you like a tube - although only goes up to 20w so still a bit low for many of the sub ohm devices.

Its a great tank - I had two for a while and they were my main stays until I got converted to lung inhaling via the sub tanks and Lemos. Good flavour, great capacity and nice looking.
Basically they are prettier versions of the full size nautilus but with better airflow and a much more practical designs (plenty of metal covering the tank so less likely to smash spectacularly if dropped).
The main down sides are the airflow is still a bit tight for a lung inhale (great for mouth to lung though) and they do gargle and spit a bit when the juice gets low. When coupled with rebuilt heads with cotton though I'd recommend them as a very practical tank.

Nic first - so I can get a cap on that bottle asap - slight paranoia perhaps.
PG or VG next - usually VG to get that bit out of the way as its tedious drawing it up.
Flavour last.
I suspect however the order has no bearing on anything other than your personal preference however

Meh - I prefer a light sabre to a mini gatling gun myself - the 134 is a serious sized beast
It depends on your taste and desired form factor but for a pro tank, aerotank and a mini nautilus I'd go pocket sized with decent battery life and some options.
If you are happy with china postage you can pick up a Cloupor mini or an istick30 for £20 or so that should meet all your needs and day plus battery life
That said for a tenner that Vamo is a decent mod that will do what you want it to do - and yes a tenner, barely buy you a pack of fags these days

The mini comes with two OCC coil heads that you can just screw in and vape and the RBA section comes with a coil already fitted and another spare one so all you need is to wick it with some cotton (which it also comes with).
You won't need to buy any extras for a few weeks or so at a min (if you look after and dry burn to clean the RBA coil it'll last months before you even need to use the spare). The OCC coils will last at least a week each.
