Just wondering if there is a recommended order for adding nic base, pg, vg and flavouring when making a mix up or does it really not make any difference ? Opinions welcome

Well i could be doing it wrong, but i mix the base VG/PG first, add the nicotine and then flavour to taste, as the flavour proportions can be a bit woolly 10 to 20%, Depending on the source, and some flavours have a bigger impact than others, For example coconut is Very strong while raspberry can be very subtle.
if following a known recipe, then any order that suits you, .

"Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!" I do it that way too, start with a clean syringe and just a wipe of the nozzle between each, works fine when mixing large volumes. I may change the order but always flavourings last.

Yes, it will be a known recipe phatfil - simple single flavours to start with and I have a good idea of the flavour percentage I will be aiming at Not sure I'm that OCD chrisjw but it seems like a good plan to find a method that works and stick to it

Seems to be a popular order to do things though which is what I'm looking for

Oh I don't know, I'll flip the PG & VG depending on which nic base I'm using

For no particular reason, nic, VPG (as I mix VG&PG when I get them), flavour.

Oops I seem to work backwards flavour vg pg then last nic. I read on some flavour site (can't remember which one) to always flavour first as it mixes better no idea if it's true but I've always done it that way.

I start with flavourings, then nic, pg and then top up with the vg. That way,the nic and the flavours are already mixed and if there's a little space left in the top of the bottle...... a little extra vg won't hurt
