Nick is correct. Thanks Nick. 1) Try right clicking the EJMU icon or program link and select "Run As Administrator". 2) Not sure if you are actually opening the recipe with EJMU "File" "Open" or you are trying to open the recipe file by double clicking the ".rec" file in Window Explorer? The recipes can only be opened with EJMU.

Exactly. The order does not matter. Just get into a habit of always doing it the same way so not to double dose. Layout your bottles in front of you then relocate the bottle that you just used. I do Nic, PG, VG, Flavoring in that order.

OPPPPs! I think I may have miss-read the O.P. Yes you guys are right. If he is mixing 24mg w/ 24mg the results are 24mg. Just the PG/VG Ratio will be different

Not sure if I follow 100% but if both liquids you are mixing are 24mg then the result will be 24mg. 100% is the menthol mix 100% PG nowt else, Jim at Joose Juice has been doing a few experiments for me different ratios to try and get rid of this bloody allergy i have. So Nic will stay at 24mg Thanks You have to tell us the quantities of each liquid your are adding

Will check mine when it arrives. Was your's ordered from eBay? If so report to sod. Don't remember where I bought the first 5 but the second 5 were from ebay. I've only tried tweaking the one board. Probably the one from the 1st batch. In case your interested, here is a Review of the TP4056 controller

I've just ordered one to play with, it's specced as set up at 1 amp? Did you change the resistor breaktru or just run it as is? Yes I did raid. The claim was it was set for 1A but was actually 500ma

I looked at the board you pointed out fred and you are right, it's limited to 1a, but...... If you change the resistor I circled you should be able to change the amp output:
A value of about 500r should give you 2 amps. Would have to play with one and do some sums to be certain. Is a PITA changing SMD components though, even with a 0.5mm tip on your iron. I have used that USB charger before in a few mods for charging Li-Po batts and the best I can get out of it is 850ma. They come set for 500ma.

Yeah it does sound like this flavoring is not up to par. Just my 2 cents/pence, Sometimes less is more (flav %) and if you are using Vodka or PGA, it can mute the flavoring.

I have released version 13.0.0.1 with the note window visible on the main form. I left the Notepad option for those who have already created notes for their recipes. The form is now landscape in order to fit everything on the screen. Download Here

chykensa& while we're at it when EJMU regains focus, can you pull the nic-combine window to the front, as at the moment, it hides behind other open windows. It's still the best calculator out there IMHO though Clicking any of the tools including the nic combine will open a window over the calc window. It can then be moved to a location convenient on your screen. Perhaps your mouse clicking is too sensitive. You may be clicking on the calc window after the tool opens (not intentionally). The focus will be on the last clicked window.

Hey guys, Just so you know: The .rec and .dft files are meant to be opened w/ the EJMU software and not by double clicking the file. The files are saved via the software in the default folder in which the software was installed in. The software has a standard default.dft file and looks for it (in default folder) upon opening EJMU. Creating a new one is done with the software and is saved also in the folder in which it was installed in.

Negative PG values usually mean you have too much PG - it's telling you that you need to take some out in my experience. Can you post a screenshot? The pop up hides the values on the calculator, so a screen shot would be of no use, just pop these values in and see for your self. 1 nic base 100% pg @ 54mg 2 target nic 36mg 3 amount 5ml 4 flavor 100% pg 10% 5 target ratio 70/30 pg/vg 6 calculate. The problem is there is not enough leeway to dilute 54mg to 36mg using 100% PG Nic and a target of 36mg. Plus adding 20% PG flavoring. If there was a bigger gap in the Nic strength and Nic Target strength it can be done. Or... change your Target PG/VG ratio. If you find a calculator that can do what you are asking, then there is something wrong w/ the calculator. See the examples:
