Pep, if you don't like the dark colour of the Protank's base, use Steradent tabs to soak it clean and the colour comes off leaving it a steel colour that matches the drip tip. It takes about 4 overnight soaks to get it all off. I discovered that by accident but am glad I did!

I started reading and gave up when it said that PG is found in antifreeze. That's meaningless scaremongering. Water is found in a lot of things that would be poisonous if you ate them.
And is Polyethylene Glycol an ingredient in e-liquid? I've never seen it listed on ingredients, or mentioned on mixing threads.

The article is garbage, but at least the first page of comments (haven't read the rest of the comments) are by people who know the facts and are setting them straight.

No>91% now.
I tried twice and got a pop-up asking me to choose an answer first, but it let me view the results, so I'm not sure if I have voted once, twice or not at all. I'll try it again later.

do insurance co's / doctors have you blowing in that pipe thing to check? You know like the ones they have you doing on smoking quit courses to check carbon monoxide I think. Anyone done one of these lately btw? would they come clear? they did on me when I was on the nic patches I think the test would come up clear of carbon monoxide, if I remember rightly it's burning that produces it, so vaping doesn't produce any. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

Had four extractions today, debris from my smoking days, the dentist gave me an instruction sheet as I left, it says no smoking for 48 hours, well that's not a problem also if the area becomes sore take painkillers it then says no alcohol, they can't have both ways. Dave Poor you x Has the dentist given you antibiotics, if so the type that dentists use can make you very ill if you mix with alcohol. When vaping try just to take really small puffs, I believe the act of drawing on a ciggy can be partly to blame for dislodging the blood clot and causing a 'dry socket' which you do not want, very painful! Karma's right, it's the sucking that dislodges the clot, so be careful with the vape and don't drink with a straw. Talking of drinks, nothing fruity - I found out the hard way what citric acid in an open wound feels like! Might be wise to avoid sharp-tasting vapes too. My dentist told me to take a painkiller before the anaesthetic wears off, as it's easier to kill pain before it starts than after. (Mind you, my extractions were due to abscesses or impactions, so any after-pain was sweet relief compared to what I had had.)

I'd be scared to use it outside in case I got mugged. (That, and I wouldn't be seen dead with it.)

I may make an appearance then, not used to meeting new people which ended up in me chickening out last time I was a newbie at the last meet and was sooooo nervous beforehand, but they're as lovely & friendly in the pub as they are on here, you'll be chatting away like old mates in no time. I see Phoenixflame (Julie) is going to be there - she knows everybody and took me round and introduced me to everyone at the last meet!

Nooo! Not the Rainbow Spinner! I'm so happy you managed to get a replacement. I'm thinking of getting another to keep in a drawer for when mine gives up the ghost.
I bashed mine the other day. I had it stuck in a jeans pocket which was too shallow for it and as I walked outside and reached for it, I knocked it with my hand and it fell on the pavement. The Rainbow has 2 sets of 3 pinprick-sized dents, luckily not too noticeable, but still a bummer. My little Protank sheared off where the glass joins the base and I lost a full tank of bubblegum flavoured juice (the last of the bottle, I'd had it upside down to get the last drips out as well) in the accident.
I was on hols and had no idea where to get another clearo (yep, I had 5 coils but no spare tank!) but luckily found a nice vape shop in town and got a flourescent green see-through plastic one, bottom coil and compatible with Protank coils, which looks nice and is serving me well until my replacement Pro arrives.
Mind you, that's another story... ordered it from VaporZ last Friday and today they have posted on here about a 25% off all orders offer! Luckily I only ordered the one thing, I'd be crying if I'd placed a big order!

Very good article. I wonder if the author is a vaper himself - he definitely knows what he is talking about.

I love the LT Licorice F6. I could vape it all day. It is a tad sweet though so I reckon it would go well mixed with the salty one too.
