welshwestie, i'm going to Marmaris on the 7th, thought about taking the Vamo, but have decided against it due to the controversy and possible ban on them (heard they were banned back in 2008, but that was just on sales and import of them, not use) unlikely that when you go back that everyone will be using them, this article popped up in March, www.worldbulletin.net/?aType=haber&ArticleID=105444 so i will just take the trusty Ego's as i don't want my mods snaffled by an overzealous official who is unsure of what is/isn't allowed. Don't know about that ausfost but you can buy them now even though they are difficult to find. They shop owner I asked that was selling them bought a lot of kits when he was here in the UK to take back. I had my 2 spinners and ego along with 4x20ml bottles of juice in a see through plastic bag in my handbag. I had to empty my bag to go through security in Dalaman airport. They didn't bat an eyelid. Then again there's always one.

The first thing that ran through my mind when I read the heading was a picture of a turkey with an ecig in its mouth, Strange how minds work.

I've just got home from a holiday in Icmeler and can't get over how many local people asked me about my ecig. When I explained all about how it works and how it has kept me cig free since I started using one everyone said they would love to be able to get hold of one to help stop them smoking. There is a jewelery shop there that sells ego battery for £10 but not the e liquid. I really think I've converted quite a lot of people into getting on the Internet and ordering. All of the time I was in Icmeler and Marmaris I only seen one other person using an ecig. It really surprised me as here it's the norm to see people where ever you go using one. I hope when i go back next year everyone will be using an ecig.

The heat is a dead giveaway that its got a connection problem resistance + load/power = heat. Thats why your coil makes vapour, at the other end. Give the cap, spring and threads a good clean, a rub with wet and dry or wire brush On the faces that touch. As soon as I came home from work tonight I got straight to putting all of your suggestions to the test. i firstly stretched the spring so that the battery doesn't rattle around inside, thank you DJ Des. Then I rubbed everything there is to rub with wet and dry, thank you mark m. As it was pouring with rain and would have meant a trip to the shed to find some cable I thought I would try the above first, thank you raid. I am so pleased my vamo is now working perfectly again. I've been doing some homework whilst vaping like mad for the past 2 hours. No hot cap/spring, no turning itself off. Thank you everyone that gave me advice, I am so grateful and hope one day I'll be able to return your kindness.

It's a contact problem on the battery cap. Remove the battery cap slightly stretch the spring and replace making sure you've tightened it. Shake the Vamo, if the battery is still loose stretch the spring a little more. Sent from my Nexus 4 using proboards Thank you. I'll give this a try when I get home tonight.

I have just gone to order a hot spring and notice that it is a gold colour. Will it be any different to the one I have in my vamo now that is gold coloured too? Nothing I do is ever straight forward!

Thank you all so much. I would never have thought it could be a spring causing the trouble. I am going to order one now.

Afaik the Vamo has a thermal cutoff, so it'll stop working until it cools down again. Are you chain vaping when this happens? Mine can do it now & again with my drippers, and more often if I chain vape on my Aga-T. Plus there's also a hot spring that I've seen for sale that's meant to fix them if they heat up at the bottom - due to a poor spring I think. Someone more technical than me might be able to offer an explanation why. Have a read through this thread : allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/21414

Sounds more like a battery problem ... are you using a decent battery or a "FIRE" type? I'm using the Efest batteries that came as part of the kit.

It's started to turn it's self off now! If I leave it alone for a few minutes and switch it back on its ok for about 10 minutes then it goes off again. Does anyone have any idea what the matter with it is please?

Sorry if this has been asked before but my SS Vamo v2 battery cap is getting very hot. It only started doing it last night. I'm wondering if it could be the Nova I'm using, I usually vape between 1.8 and 2 ohm but the one I'm using now is 2.6 ohm also sometimes when I'm vaping nothing happens. I press the button and can hear the sizzle but when I vape there's nothing coming through. I've cleaned the top of the vamo and bottom of the tank but it's made no difference. Any help will be much appreciated.

I've bought a few tailor made juices from Puffin. Sorry I can't tag them at the mo, but if you google them. I've always found them very good quality but they need to be steeped as they are freshly made. Fast delivery too, usually next day.

Your flavourings are most likely to be suspended in PG Westie, so check that box on the Ejuicemeup calculator, those will then be calculated for in your final volumes. I can't get the Ejuicemeup calculator on my iPad Perpetua so I used another. I've just made another 5ml so fingers crossed. The one I made a mess of earlier is quite nice to be fair. Good throat hit which is what I like so all is not lost. thank you so much.

When I'm mixing the 70PG 30VG with 72mg nic and Capella flavouring that is in what I think a water base not VG or PG for a 6mg juice what do I count the flavouring as or have I bought the wrong one? Just if it is water based then will it affect the overall amount of the other ingredients? Simple is my middle name Perpetua. I know what you mean about the drops being measured in different droppers oxo. I have got a few that are all different! I just tried measuring 1ml with 3 different ones and one has come out as quite a bit more than the others.
