Well Peeps my Yiylong Flask arrived this afternoon. Unpacked and was horrified at the construction of the squonk bottle. It`s a 1 piece plastic mould, no screw cap. Fitting it is a `bloody nightmare`, when full of juice it`s a hell of a job to get the plastic bottle tube to push onto the centre pin tube, without having juice EVERYWHERE. A very POOR design. and to make matters worse, it`s not a standard size bottle, you could replace with another type of squonk bottle "GRRRR" . Finger print magnet finish. Good news: the TC works perfectly up to its max of 40w. Overall I shall see me having to modify the bottle and feed to the atty centre pin, blakey is the authentic flask using same type of bottle connection ??? Overall disappointed. (got to be honest) I don't know what type of tube connection the yiylong unit is using mate The original has the tip of the tube cut at a slant to allow for easy fitting, try widening the first part of the tube - just a couple of mm worth to aid in fitting I find that I just insert the bottle into the slot and make sure that the first part of the tube is over the pin then just screw on the base plug and it pushes the bottle up

I keep looking at this, then I look at the mods that I use for temp control cloud chasing and they are set to 35w Apart from the evic vt which is set to 40w I look at the temp control mods for normal vaping and they are 14.9-16w There is going to be a hell of a lot of wasted power here but a vast improvement in battery life between charges - I'm struggling to justify the need for this tech in my life Personally I find the higher watts a warmer vape which I love and I think it brings out the flavour more with some flavours and builds and a big plus for the dna200 is the preheat @ 200w until it reaches your temperature which would mean instant vaping like never known before at your desired temp That's the thing, pre-heat is wasted on me, I get a warm enough vape on standard set ups and have at no time felt I was ever lacking in power Pre-heat comes into it's own on genesis atties or with 26g wire and above where extra power is necessary to heat the coil quickly and I rarely use wire that thick Good luck to you all if you're looking forward to it, I'll no doubt own one myself but I really can't see the personal need on my behalf

Fair do's for you if you need to use thicker wire, I haven't any requirement for it nor gennies really if I'm honest. Will probably own a 200 at some point but for the life of me I can't figure out any reason other than It's new and I don't have it

Still experimenting blakey, it always takes me a while to find my preferred setups, probably converting the flask I have to a squonker so I am not close to a final verdict yet. I love that vaporflask squonk I have here mate, you'll love that flask of yours as a squonk too when you convert it. I use them @windows squonk boxes mostly. 14mm atties provide the best single coil experience for me, I'm not a big dual coil fan -too much power needed which means less battery life and also too intense a vape for my enjoyment. I may just doctor the air hole on one of these chalice clones if it provides a smoother vape as you said happened to yours

More like 3 puffs letsavit 0.84 ohm about 20 W on a fresh VTC4, but the point is flavour not convenience, well for for me anyway. Small wicks keep the liquid cleaner and should heat a tiny bit quicker, I assumed that it was common knowledge among long time vapers. I heard about it the fist time I was interested in squonking probably about 15-16 months ago and probably the 2nd or 3rd time squonking got popular in a small way, must be on the 5th or 6th time by now. IIRC is was an old youtube video by SuperXDrifter on the Reo, he has tonnes of squonking videos up is credited with being the first to post about mico-coils (before anyone starts no he doesn't claim to have been the first to invent them, he was just the first to post them on the web). That's spot on, all the liquid gets evaporated leaving very little behind sizzling on a hot coil and sitting in the wick which means the next squonk provides clean liquid as the wick is moistened and therefor an improved flavour. I know you prefer your gennies mate but that's cos gennies suit the tobacco flavours that you vape, for me though - squonking is as good as it gets with my desert flavours. I don't care a to$$ about clouds, just give me pure flavour - and then give me some more

So is it possible to do a silica wick build in a rose? If so I'll stick with what I've got. I did buy a subtank nano but didn't like the coils, then bought the full size rta, but don't like the draw for mtl. I'll stick them on the classified's later It was designed for silica

The rose does a superb job with custard liquids, infact it's one of the best The squape r with the b deck also does a grand job The taifun gt2 does a fine job too as does the atmistique eviva I only drip custard these days due to the necessity of constant rewicking

Well Mr John Bold got straight back to me, offered me return postage, seems a fair guy that does a good service. New flask turned up but no bottles... Still can't fecking squonk .... blakey on the real flask I'm looking at a white piece under the atty, no pin sticking out like this clone and midland vaping are sending me out a "pack" that should of come with everything, is that right? The real flask has a removable pin which is about an inch and a half long and a silicon o-ring sits over it inside the 510 to create a seal. Before And with the pin removed
