I think I will get one of these Davides myself...the mini one looks good to me. Just so you know, my mini Davide does NOT vape properly. Never has done and never will. I've tweaked it and messed around with it. There is a design fault in the base/atomiser head arrangement. Thankfully, my 3 mini protanks do not have the same system. Maybe I will not get one then. However, someone posted that a shorter post makes it go better. I just really like the look of it. Shiny-i-tus is clouding my judgement perhaps,I do like it though...all that smooth bare metal....

I agree chykensa. Early on I noticed the mellow tone of this forum myself and then all the pink and purple...I think all the womans moderating and posting makes it what it is. I think I will get one of these Davides myself...the mini one looks good to me. I agree. This forum is by far the best and most friendliest forum i have ever been on and that include all other subjects. My kite forums and rc forums are nothing like this. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 Yeah man...yeah. Those big nasties over on the RC forums sneered at my upgrades to my Stinger EST2 speed controller and laughed in my face about spare parts for my Maverick Strada Evo XB ...sounds a bit like Evod.. ..Should have asked the nice ladies and gents here first methinks.maybe we could combine the technologies... *vaping*a solid state speed controller hooked up to a davide with some LF strawberry sounds good maybe with a 2.4GHZ transmitter..its getting silly now isn't it....,i is going to bed now..

OMG, just read the first two pages of the UKV thread you linked to Chrissie, I realise now what a wonderfully moderate tone our forum takes on all issues. Please don't take this the wrong way, buy I think that the reason this forum is so pleasant and friendly is the presence of all you womanly types! Everyone gets so arsey and uptight at the merest provocation over there, firing off and generally doing the greater cause no good whatsoever! ETA: too much testosterone methinks! I agree chykensa. Early on I noticed the mellow tone of this forum myself and then all the pink and purple...I think all the womans moderating and posting makes it what it is. I have not been vaping for long but my best buys were genuine evods, ego c twist 1100mah and kanger t3. Worst was some no name mango juice, like sucking a hoover bag with one of those little lavender hoover freshners in it... Why does nobody like the t3? I have had no problems with mine. OMG, a double-triode valve. You can make a simple stereo amplifier with that, or maybe use it as a two-stage audio amp, or, make an astable multvibrator... or... or...Hey jonoclouds....us double triodes are people too,you know. Yes,you could also make a summing amp/mixer with that common anode. Imagine how big our batteries would be if we still used this technology...

Oi Debbs,Slainte. Just read your 9 pages so far.Your journey is very same as mine and OH's.I love to read of others success,it keeps all us noobs going.I am going to get one of those Davides....been looking at them. You have decided me with your comments. Well done yous two.. I think your hubby's taste bud recovery is a bit advanced on yours( the wife is 2 weeks behind me) and I find that menthol is like a reset switch for the taste/smell system. It seems to cleanse the pallette. If you want to totally sack the stinkies this worked for us. Just one measly day....just try and go one whole day without the stinkies and full conversion might happen.Dont build up to it or stress it....chill.If you fail..so what,no big deal, just keep on keeping on what you are doing. The thoughts is worse then the reality and if you really cant stand having no tobacco, the shop is only down the road. Just make sure there is no tobacco in the house or the car...or hidden in the garage or bedside locker...The stinkies are slowing your progress methinks,I am no expert by far...Just my tuppence worth...I just want to help.Soooo glad you found THIS forum,by the way..cool gentle people...other forums seem to like flaming newbs..vaping extremests smoking mods like light sabres trying to produce the most smoke and having the most tatoos..anyway... If yous have not already, get a VV battery.I got an Ego C twist 1100mah (wanted a Vision spinner though, not in local shop) and discovered the "volume control of flavour"......it is tremendous. Also,Puffin Liquids in Belfast are brilliant, dropped some juice personally through my letterbox last night at 21:45 ,(we are having some trouble with Royal Mail here I think),I was havin a bad flavour night and thought it was Christmas when some 18mg Stawberry landed on my door mat with a slight bump. How is that for service or what?.. JooseJuice lemon and lime and Liberty Flights Stawberry milkshake @ 4.0 volts is for me...my nick tolerance is dropping for some reason so after just under 2 months I we are down to 12/14mg without even trying. Vaping is awesome,no will power required....why is this not on the NHS....? Night Night to yous. Heineken Is Great

intelicide My wife just rolls her eyes each time the postie delivers another shiny piece of vaping hardware but I think she would throw a fit if I brought home a shiny shop assistant . Good luck with your "step up" to the joys of vv Ha ha yes! So true. The first thing her royal-ness said when she saw it was that I looked like I was smoking a flute, the second was how much did THAT LOT cost...

I'd just like to say thank you to all the people on here who have so generously provided advice and guidance to all newbies. I started vaping a couple of months ago and found the experience bewildering - it's a whole new world with a strange language all its own. I did some research, failed to understand most of what I found out so panicked and spent money; fortunately I hedged my bets and bought from 2 vendors because if I had only dealt with one of them then I would have given up very quickly and gone back to rollies. Everything went well for a couple of weeks until I realised there had to be more to this lark if I was going to stay off cigarettes; I wasn't entirely happy with my pretend ciggies (even though I had a very smart PCC kit) and I hadn't found a juice which inspired me to stick with although I had acouple which were OK (I did have some which were positively revolting so OK was good!). I got back on my computer and started reading things a bit more carefully; I kept finding links to forums but was a bit apprehensive, I took the plunge and spent quite a lot of time reading bits and pieces here and there. Hence the thank you; AECC is friendly, welcoming and not at all intimidating. I have learned so much just reading various threads in here, I have found things to buy and where to buy them and been able to read reviews and experiences to help me choose more wisely. Thank you one and all. Welcome loobiebloo I am new too,so glad you found this forum. It keeps us newbs going i think.. Everyones path is different. Keep reading and keep vaping. Your story is familiar.

1 month and 2 days off the stinkies. I've had a bad flavour/taste bud week,my beloved LF apple is too stingy, nothing tastes good even the LF VG heavy menthol ice I love is "neutral"..no TH or taste.I was a bit sort of depressed after my initial joy from starting all this and now it felt like it had all gone a bit dour, with my ego 650 and evods. Thoughts of Golden Virginia and green Rizla and Swan extra slim filters swam into my mind, now and again.I decided this was not an option.(i remember the taste) So I burst into my local shop today (wearing my favorite geek tee shirt) for new flaves and some VV and sympathy/advice.. I had a vision spinner in mind for the thin-ness and clear voltage markings.Had to settle for an ego c twist 1100mAH/CE4 disposable kit which had unclear markings but it was....beutifull shiny steel...the shop girls jet black hair was shiny too and so were her dark shiny eyes and my evods are shiny and everything was shiny and she even swapped the disposable for a kanger T3 which I heard of but never used so i bought it...she was really nice and helpful. And shiny. She recommended LF strawbeery milkshake and others. Total Awesome-ness. Liberty Flights 18mg Strawberry Milkshake at 4.0 Volts in the T3 is the sweet spot for me.For a while I thought this VV thing was sillyness, now I know different. I think I have reached the next level. Next week I will smile and ask her what her name is.....I might get discount: )

Vaping now for 26 days with 1.8 Evods. This is better than smoking!! Flavours...!
Recently got Liberty flights XO Menthol Ice VG.Up to now I have used PG liquids.I did not ask for VG liquid..only noticed when I got it home.It looks thick and a bit cloudy.
Very smooth inhale with no throat dryness but not much TH and loads of vape cloud..But after a while on the exhale I taste something like sweetish warm slightly sour milk taste, more so when exhale through the nose.
Is this how VG tastes or have my taste buds gone strange again?

Hello everyone, I'm relatively new to the forum, I did post a question last week before I had introduced myself. This is typical of me doing everything the wrong way around. Anyway I'm really grateful for the advice I was given and everything is now wonderful. I've been vaping for little over 6 months and love it. Very soon I am going to give dripping a try so I will no doubt be here asking for your invaluable advice once again. I have noticed here that no matter how small someone's vaping query is you are always so friendly and helpful, one thing I was a bit concerned about before joining is being made to feel silly for asking about something simple that I don't understand. Seeing how lovely you are all here I won't have to worry asking for your advice. Looking forward to meeting you all. Hi and welome What gear are you using?

Helo Jayj. So glad you have discovered all this too. Dump those silly disposables(I got 8 days hard vaping then burnt taste,2 washes and dry burns not cure). Get CE4 V3 or sometimes called CE4 R (re-buildable)Just screw new head on and new clean flavour..it becomes all about the flavor, not satisfying the nic urge. Resistance...R=V/I...and the famous ....Resisitivity=(rho)L/A..etc its all Bo**ox..never mind that theory stuff. Low ohm head is hotterfaster tobacco-ish stingy tastebud numbing toungeburn, reduce the volts for less intense-ness. Higher ohm head, slower burn, lots more flavour, maybe crank the volts up... I am not great experienced but get an evod,I and ma wife started same as you but found the clearos are mechanically fragile, the evods are made of steel and really heavy and man-ly

Generally people say juice will last up to two years. It's best kept in the fridge unless it's steeping. It won't do you any harm, but it can taste overly strong once it gets past a certain age. Maybes PG is volatile enough to evaporate and leave flavour/nic slightly concentrated perhaps? In which case we should keep the lids on tight.I dont know. I think I will borrow my dads hydrometer (wine making measuring device) and watch the gravity of some liquid over time to see any change. Maybe someone has already done it. Should this post be in mixing section? BTW OneDay,I love your avatar, its like a rainbow of fruit flavours..
