Haha poochops (love that handle BTW!) I was going to say the same thing. I recoil my heads the moment they stop performing - it costs about 5p to recoil with wick and wire, and I've always got fresh crackling heads - bargain! 5p.....wow, I really must do this |

8 days.  I've killed off CE4 clearomisers in 48 hours (back when I didn't know what I was doing). Me too! But as well nowadays I tend to change my Evod and even protank heads after 2-3 days any way, the way I look at it is why bother with one that's even 20% below par when a fresh one tastes great? intelicide have you thought about getting some wick and wire when you go the shop next? It'll save you loads and you can change heads with abandon ! I have wound coils for radios before so why not. I suppose it works out cheaper in the long run and for me the flavour side of this is a big part of why i do it,so if it means better taste for longer,ill give it a go.......so much to do just to get set up. |

The wife has a spare ce5 with juice in it,not much used.
I will nick it when she is out and give her the stinky almost burned out one...i am sure she wouldnt mind..maybe.
......and gold plate over chrome is cool but never on a guitar imho.

8 days is pretty good going though Intelli if it's been used exclusively . . . in 8 days I would have spent over £100 in cigs at todays prices, that's how I look at things. If you've an empty bottle then you can mix a little Menthol and some Apple in it and then use that to fill your clearo. Failing that, fill your clearo directly . . . I'd go for 2/3rds Apple & 1/3rd Menthol as it can be quite overpowering. OK,I see now why the pros have one for "out and about" and a cool vv tank thing made of titanium or something for at home. I really like the ce4 for its small size so I will stock up on heads...am going to the shop on friday anyway to get me a couple of evods...musnt forget the menthol and loads more apple. I going to look at the mixology section now. |

I am disapointed the head is almost done from only 8 full days of vaping but I really love the idea of menthol in the apple.
Do I just put a drop of menthol juice into the clearo with the apple in it?

hi intelicide . wish I got the floaty head. lol... I only smoked about 14 a day, and they weren't even the high nic ones. that's why I cant understand why I'm chain vaping.. maybe I'm just enjoying vaping with the flavours. but I am finding cigs aren't tasteing the same, which is great, so not enjoying them as much as normal. plus I'm getting in my head why am I having a dirty cig when I can have a nice clean healthy one.. Your last sentence is just what i thought on my second full day of vaping. I sneaked out of a fire door at work to have a rollie just to see what it felt like. It was very stinkie indeed,so i snuck back in and had a good appley vape in the store room. After chaining for a couple of evenings i found it best to leave a break between vapes as i got more benefit from doing it this way. |

I use about 1.6ml on weekdays and about 2 at weekend.
Vaping only a week now but was smokeing about 20 golden virginia rollies a day so the 24mg suits me fine right now.I found leaving long breaks between vapes gives me a little floaty head...

I have being vaping a little over a week now but my favorite for now,apple juice,has a very slight dryish plasticy aftertaste.
The clearo has been cleaned and dry burned but still the taste.
I just wonder is my head/wick on its way out or maybe its my taste coming back or what?
I have been reading about menthol...perhaps its time for some of that.

Set up a webcam and 50w spotlight, shut your eyes and record yourself vaping. Then simply play it back to see bountiful clouds of vapour!  Hey raid,you have given me an idea... Instead of the 50w light,i could use this disco light projector which i am repairing for someone: ) Anyway,I measured the coil again today and got 2.8ohms. When i short the probes together the meter reads 00.0 I think the fluke can automatically subtract probe resistance to zero the reading. So,it seems a lower ohms head is for me. |

Off the rollies for a bit over a week now,Ego starter kit CE4 clearomizer with standard 650 mAH battery (in a little silver tin with a window for £20 and free 10ml juice,feels just like my old Golden Virginia limited edition tin)and Liberty Flights apple 24% is my kit right now.I am an instant convert and love vaping and the tech and the gear(also the unexpected lifestyle change...)
This setup will do me for now but I aim to get an Evod with an Ego twist 900mAH after reading endless reviews and vids .
My fluke 77 multimeter shows I have a 3.2 ohm coil measured at room temp not vaped for about half an hour.
I want more volume of exhaled vape like in the youtube clips I have seen.
People using Ego ce4's seem to get more clouds than me.
So my question is this:
Should I use a lower resistance coil to get more smoke?
Or
Should I use juices with more VG to make more smoke?

Hi intelicide, What, you haven't discovered vaping in the bath yet?, you haven't lived!! Just don't drop it. Cool,I never thought of that. In fact it opens a world of possibilities..vaping while on my mountain bike,vaping while sledging a snowy slope in the winter or while doing a free fall parachute jump....  As for the head nozzle thing,my wife is vaping away on it and it hasnt caught fire or anything so it must be OK. Also,I keep seeing videos of people vaping,reviewing flavours etc making big clouds.I want to make big clouds too.I might try one of those spinner batteries next. |
