Hi all
I've been using the smok spirals rba for 7 months and I need new wire to make new coil.
Does anyone know what wire gauge I need?
I think it is kanthal and is Clapton type wire.
Local shop gave me a bit but it was a bit too thick and gave me a sore throat that day (which lasted a week).
I think maybe I'm allergic to nickel or something.
Really need advice on this,local shops are useless and I've found nothing on Google.
Mine and my wife's have bright hotspots on coils now and it's stewing the juice in just a day or two.

After discovering the Evods(Which i loved and thought could not be bettered) I found the genuine Kangertech mini protank. Steel,glass and flavour but above all else a clear unrestricted airy draw and lots of smoke and Th with quality and reliability. Combined with my new vision spinner 900 Mah and 5 for a tenner hangsen juices from my local vendor...awesome  just wait till you step up again lol So what do you recommend is my next step? |

Hey preston I know your workplace lonliness. I am 13 weeks in to this vaping thing...will NEVER go back to the stinkies and it has to be said,without this forum i would have fallen off the wagon a long time ago...all those womans moderators,women are great,...anyway.. I too have recieved this mild hostility in the workplace towards vaping when outside at break time vaping with my smoking buddies.I feel sorry for them,I am bursting to tell them of the greatness but hold back not wanting to appear as an evangelist.I just vape ma miniprotank (get one...ASAP) in the corner and keep myself to myself.  Instead of saying how well you are doing not smoking tobacco for x amount of weeks,they ask"how do you know its not worse than smoking?" type of questions.  My dad often said"If you having nothing positive to say,say nothing" ... My first reply was along the lines of "54 known carcinogens in tobacco,long term effects of vaping not yet fully studied,will take my chances with the latter and have more money" This was met with laughs and scoffs to which I answered "I guess we just have to wait and see who dies first then......"  ....Met with stony silence...truth hurts I suppose.I dont want to be aloof or superiuor or fall out with me smokin buddies (they is good men really,diesel fitters,Ulster rednecks and thugs but i like them,indeed i am one of them,i am technician that wire the control systems of very large generators) ) but they are afraid of the unknown,maybe they think it looks silly or maybe they are waiting for the Chief medical Officer Of The UK Government to say it is OK before they start...I just dont know. Perhaps it is natural to attack someone who is different or deviating from the norm...(that is smoking)...maybe they is jealous.Anyway they are still buddies with me. It did not help though when one of them tried vaping for a couple of weeks and then got a chest infection....it quickley went around the factory that the cause was e-cigs...which exposed me to further slagging...We know better and will carry on. I bought some arctic cherry by mistake once, was like smoking a packet of Tunes, and I HATE Tunes  . I gave it to my Daughter, and now its all she vapes. No accounting for taste  ) Im just hoping my taste buds return to normal...I dont know what to drink apart from Tea  . Im not a big coffee drinker, I miss my PG Tips  Talking of tips...if I do buy a protank or Davide, I can buy lots of lovely drip tips.  I prefer Punjana myself.. |

2 months vaping today. I has had many bad flavor days though. Bad luck on breaking your gear,maybe you should buy a wallet type thing? No matter what equipment you are using,having some menthol around is a must.It cuts through when nothing else does and resets the taste buds. |

Yep thats what I thought Karma ??? I cant work out whats gone wrong, I had no problem with them at first, and I still love them, but the constant leaking onto the battery is driving me a bit menthol  Id like to persevere with them, but might try a protank anyway. Do they leak too, is it just a clearo thing, I dont really like cartos so would prefer to find a non-leaky clearo, if there is such a thing? Hey bebes Just got me a genuine kangertech Mini Pro tank today...I is never smoking a hot plastic thing ever again. Still love ma Evods for out and about but there is something clean,cool and quality about the glass and stainless steel.Also the tiny tip feels small and cold on me lips,it is heavy and well made and looks nice. I will use my other evods for a while but gradually replace both of them( i like to carry 3 flavors with me at all times) with mini pro taanks.Even more air than the evods but I think more voltage is needed to make them work at their best,get a twisty spinny type battery for these clearos. Just my tuppence worth. |

Search eBay UK for 'Tactile Switch' and you will find thousands for £1.50 or less. Check the dimensions and you are good to go. I haven't found any quite as cheaply made as the eGo tactile but there are many direct replacements. Hey Raid man... Do you mean to say the switches in the ego C twist battery are of inferior quality? I suppose that would explain its quick failure,even with being dropped. BTW,what has happened to ChrisVapes..has he been deleted or something...was he naughty to the admins...?  |
