k8 ecigarettedepot.co.uk liquids are UK made, on site actually in their own white room and all their ingredients are UK sourced. I've tried a lot of their juices as they're local to me and I have to say they are very good. Jay

Looks a nice bit of kit. Thing that worries me is the whole pre order thing though from any vendor. I don't like parting with my money for items that aren't in stock in case there are delays with stocking, I like to do a straight swap, my money for goods that I want with no delays other than postage time. So do I sit back, wait and hope the price doesn't go back up and they don't sell out within 10 minutes of getting them in, hmmm..

I love the look of this, when it is available would we be stung by import tax buying from the USA ?

It's good to see public health England not supporting the ban due to there being no scientific facts supporting the anti ecig bills. Also cancer research going along with that and pretty much saying saying that something that moves people away from tobacco and the known harm that causes shouldn't be readily criticised without foundation.
I know there are some saying it took years before we realised the harm tobacco does and it could be the same with Ecigs. My argument against that is that scientific research and testing today is vastly superior to back then and results much easier to come by so that argument may apply a little but as a complete argument against, it just doesn't hold water for me. It's all about scaremongering and then the taxing will come.

baron I've had a clouded mini a while now with no problems other than the 510 connector has become a bit wobbly, it's just soldered to the internals. Somebody might correct me but I don't believe there has been a case of one exploding or catching fire, early batches had a very low percentage that overheated and melted some of the internal plastics. It's a good mod but not everything will sit flush due to not enough travel in the screw adjustable 510, well at least not mine. Jay

I might buy a couple of tickets for this, it looks a cracking prize. Does anybody know what charity the money raised will be going too ?

FyneMods it doesn't mention in the description if the mini bomber 510 is fixed, adjustable or spring loaded. Would it be possible to clarify this please ? Thanks, Jay

When it comes down to it, probably over 95% of ecig batteries come from China. Most of the batteries probably originate in a few factories. The main trouble makers are Li-ion batteries. I personally wouldnt leave a Li ion battery charging overnight, no matter who made the battery and who made the charger (I have a Nitecore charger and Panny batteries). It just seems like an unnecessary risk to me. My son uses a ego type kit. He left the charger on overnight and the battery blew up, and I MEAN blew up. It scorched the wallpaper and the cabinet it was sitting on. I had warned him not to leave it on overnight. To lessen the risk, he had it in the bedroom and the bang woke him up. If it had been in the kitchen downstairs.................well it doesnt bear thinking about. I have a pan at home, the type your granny used to have, thick heavy thing with a matching lid. My batteries are charged in there with the lid on, the lid isn't sealed due to the charger lead and they're charged on a kitchen work top. I also move anything I think could be flammable. I don't go out and leave the house whilst they're charging unless someone else is home. If I leave the house while someone is home, usually just my 20 year old son, he's told there are batteries charging. He's a little OCD like myself and has never forgotten to turn them off if he gos out. Accidents, the clue is in the name and they happen but if you can do what you can to reduce the effect they may have, then you should. Some people might think I'm a bit over the top but it makes me feel better along with the fact my grandbabies often visit so I just see it as good practice for me personally. Jay

I really, really, wish the Chinese would refrain from screen printing meaningless gibberish on mods. It would save loads of people taking them back to bare metal. Funny you should say that. I've just read on FT after clicking through from a link on here to look at a smowell 50w. Now in the discussions on FT somebody complained about the screen printing and someone else suggested using a sugar cube to remove it, saying they had done it before. Of course he could be totally nuts. www.fasttech.com/products/3099/10012717/2204701-authentic-smowell-dpv-50-variable-wattage-vw-apvJay

I was looking at the Smowell too, I'm just put off ny the allen screws to change the battery, I thought we'd got past that old chestnut People may point out it can be charged via USB and vaped whilst charging so need for regular battery changing. It always puts me off a bit though if a USB port is on the base. If I have a tank sat on top, well it makes sense to have a charging port anywhere else but the base. Well it makes sense to me anyway but that proves nothing. Jay
