Just took a gamble on the Cloupor Min 30W jobbie..

Found this on sale @ £18.75 from here:

So, I decided to buy it yesterday, and checked order progress today and find it has been despatched.

I am willing to gamble the 18 quid since if it is genuine and works, then it is a lot cheaper than any where else that I can find.

I could be proved wrong though.

I wanted a small mod that has a replaceable battery that in theory should give me a longer life than my (luverly) iStick 30W, but what do I know ?

If I remember I will update this when I receive it and have used it for a few days or thereabouts, as to how it works out.

Looking forward to getting it, as it seems to have good reviews.
The only possible downside is the claims that they can catch fire, but since I doubt I will be firing my usual Nautilus tanks at 30W for 15 seconds, I am not too worried.
But I will test it out though as others have done to see if it shows the 'too hot' error.

But, at half the normal price here, I figured it was worth a punt.

its a handy wee mod but try and use a flat top 18650 as its a ruddy tight fit for button tops
oh dont forget to take a small crosshead screwdriver out and about as the 510 pin moves when you change attys
apart from that i havent had a prob with mine

Thanks for the advice. I have seen somewhere else that a user had to keep re-adjusting the pin when swapping or even putting back a tank.
Most of my 18650's have flat tops, so that should be ok.
I will probably take out the iStick 30W or MVP2 when out and about, and leave the Cloupor at home...minus battery, just in case.

Some little niggles I will have to get used to, unless it sets itself on fire of course, or explodes and destroys my handsome face

At least I will have trashed about 18 quid instead of twice that if it all goes poo shaped.

baron I've had a clouded mini a while now with no problems other than the 510 connector has become a bit wobbly, it's just soldered to the internals.

Somebody might correct me but I don't believe there has been a case of one exploding or catching fire, early batches had a very low percentage that overheated and melted some of the internal plastics.

It's a good mod but not everything will sit flush due to not enough travel in the screw adjustable 510, well at least not mine.

I am hoping that liking the device will over come any niggles, but at least I know what to look out for.

I have an authentic Cloupor Mini courtesy of Fastech - it works a treat. As far as the battery is concerned anything less than 66mm in length is fine. The atomizer connection is fine tuned via a philips cross head connection within the threads. It'll take you a couple of minutes to find the right setting for you atty but after than there's really nothing more you need to do.

mine arrived from fasttech 2 weeks ago, nice bit of kit. I like that my erl doesn't sit flush on it - stops it catching on the airflow control.

I think you and baron will both be pleased with your purchases johnnyboy . . . . I love mine, great little mods for the money. The magnetic door is a bonus for me - I tend to change batteries rather than charge via the USB, so that makes it easy.

There are also sleeves available, if you wanted to ' clothe ' your Cloupor.

Well, for about £18 I think it is worth it, and bought mine because it is so much cheaper than anywhere else.
I will also just charge the batteries outside of the unit, and possibly get a sleeve for it, the same as I got one for my iStick 30W, which makes it quite comfy in the hand, and also adds some protection for it too.

Also, there are only 3 days left on that site to buy one at that price.

You could of shopped around, even with paying for the faster shipping from China you would of still saved a packet !

I would rather pay the £18 and wait a week or so, than pay an extra £20 to get it next day or something.
