I probably shouldn't clutter the board with this but I'm rather pleased with myself lol. Well after asking lots of questions and looking at various recipe ideas and trying to fathom the witchcraft and wizardry that seems to be going on I've thrown together my first mix rather fitting for halloween really. I've kept it simple and I obviously haven't tried it yet. I've put together apple pie and cream or at least thats what it's hopefully going to taste like. I have no idea how long to steep it but I'm going to give it a week to start with then if it's any good I'll update this thread. I'm putting the ingredients below incase anybody spots a glaring mistake and on that thought input is appreciated and welcome.
Aiming for a 70pg/30vg mix at 12mg nic (10ml)
PG nicotine 72mg - 1.67ml PG - 3.53ml VG - 3ml TPA green apple - 1ml/10% TPA pie crust - 0.4ml/4% TPA catalan cream - 0.3ml/3% TPA vanilla - 0.1ml/1% 3 drops Stevia to sweeten.
Fingers crossed, Jay

Just a quick question regards needle gauges. I've just used a syringe to measure some VG with an 18 gauge blunt needle. Boy was that vg reluctant to be syringed, would I better using a different gauge ? I realise if I do some liquid may still be present in the needle which may not be good for accurate measuring. I've also noticed recipe calculators often say ml's and drops, are drops really that accurate ?
Thanks, Jay

A dripper/dripping atomiser may be the answer so you can try a little at a time. These let you drip a few drops onto your wick directly through your mouthpiece.

Perpetua your flippin quick lol. This is where the confusion would lay for me. CCW say no to orange and it sounds like that may be a good idea yet rich64 recommends it in my making a start thread. Then again they so no to aniseed but people are obviously using it with no problem. I know the obvious answer is use what you want and are comfortable with but I do like to question these things and maybe gain a little knowledge in the process.

fred Perpetua CCW do say there aniseed is not suitable, based on what I'm not sure. Maybe they're being cautious with certain flavours. I was recommended there orange concentrate but the site says no for that one aswell.

Anyone used CCW Aniseed or CCW Liquorice? Just pulled the trigger on 100ml & 28.5 ml I didn't think CCW aniseed was vape friendly ?

Hi all I have some juice to trade. It doesn't necessarily have to be like for like quantity wise. I would prefer less than 18mg strength if possible but thats also not a necessity. All of the quantities are approximate to the best I can gauge by eye. Wanting to trade as they're not to my taste. All properly labled up with the original labels still intact. Not alot out of any of them.
Vapourtine - amaretto 18mg approx 17ml. Vapourtine - butterscotch 18mg approx 19ml
Hangsen - cherry mix cola 18mg approx 29ml Winging it's way to onetwothree Hangsen - Vanilla 18mg 28ml
Edit: It doesn't have to be juice traded as I may have my hands full with juice after ordering quite a bit of home brewing gear lol.

dickyg it was red Astaire that got me interested in aniseed siffy kindly made me some free of charge ...I got a faint taste of the aniseed and now I'm searching for the taste I have tried Red Astaire and for me it's quite weak in flavor, my OH loves it....But Afro Dizziac is strong in Aniseed but my OF said it tastes like curry It's funny you should mention the curry thing Romelee. I recently vaped my way through a bottle of blackjack juice from health-e-vape. Blackjack as you know is liquorice flavour which is derived from aniseed, so this is sort of on topic. Now initially after a weeks steeping I thought wow this is black jack. A week or so later I started to think the aroma is a bit currified. Now I always blow vapour at the gf so she can smell it due to it having to pass the vaping in the living room test first, at first she said it smelt of blackjack sweets. This is where your post grabbed my attention, a week or so later she said my car smelt like the delivery driver from the local indian takeaways car must smell. She said it smelt really strong of curry powder when I blew some straight at her and this reinforced my own and her thoughts, curry !

China buying appears to be very random with delivery times. They must receive a vast amount of orders from around the globe. Service might not be the best and fortunately I haven't had to have that experience, yet. I've placed 4 orders with focal and three have arrived one just this morning, an evod I got for 59 cents in the trigger finger buy type of thing they do. The other two orders that arrived were a bit more expensive than that, shhh. I am now awaiting 2 mini protank 2's ordered on the 14th October posted on the 24th. Thats 10 days from ordering to posting, not great but thats what I expect from China. Also China customs are playing a big roll in our delivery times right now.
I think if focal wanted to rip us all off deliberately the trigger finger thing they do would be the way to do it but some of the items they sell in that promotion they only have 1 of. Increase that to a few hundred per item and you could imagine how quick the money would roll in.

rich64 Sure I'll let you know how I get on with the CCW custard, although I am a beginner so I don't know how valuable my opinions and conclusions will be. Regards the vanillin and ethyl maltol, vanillin is very sweet but with flavour of vanilla ? I'm open to correction on that one as thats just a google. I do have some French vanilla in my order to add to anything I feel needs vanilla but I'd appreciate a pointer if I'm missing something. Ethyl maltol is an intense sweetner I believe with a bit of a candy flossy taste ? I've ordered some stevia liquid on ebay HERE I read about it in Perpetua 's thread Here I'm always open to suggestions though

Another positive to add to Greigster 's reputation as a good and very trusted member. I bought some bamboo wool and micro coils from him. Delivered very quickly indeed and very well packaged. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again and would advise anybody thinking of purchasing from or trading with greigster to do so with confidence. Thanks Neil your a star. Jay

Right, I went a bit mental and ordered. Flavourart -Catalan cream Flavourart - Anise Flavourart - Pineapple Perfumers apprentice - Green apple Perfumers aprrentice - French vanilla deluxe Perfumers Apprentice - Gingerbread Perfumers Apprentice - Pie crust CCW - Candyfloss CCW - Strawberry CCW - Custard I'm going to try and throw a couple of random mixes together with the above. Fruit pie types sound likely, unless............. Do they do steak and kidney flavour ? lol. Can anyone spare me a quid for a cup of tea please

Ignorance is bliss, well for those it doesn't effect it is. Personally I never "state facts" unless I flipping well know what I'm saying is exactly that.
