purchased a v-max few weeks back from a vendor that had a major sales deal on them, thought the two batts i had would run it ok, but no being flat top they didnt, i then purchased two nipple tops that arrived today and the bloody thing still dint last longer than 2 mins of working, now getting the 123456789 message again, anybody have any experience with these, it was such a cheap purchase, but i am now very reluctant to spend out on even more batteries, especially as the advised ones are so dam expensive . I just dont see why the batts i have do not work ? UltraFire 18350 3.7V 1200mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries arrived today, i no .. i no they have fire in the name but im cheap And the other two that came with an ss vamo from slowtech  |

Owned my Kanger Protanks for four months, not one leak though have buggered bases by dropping lol ) cant recommend them enough, though i would opt for buying from UK rather than certain chinese sellers

I only use flat top in mods so cant help with whether the button top work, have you tried stretching the bottom spring to make sure connection is nice and tidy
