Meant to say that the white silicone sleeve you can see in your picture that houses the ceramic etc is the one that is blocking the airflow control from working.

That is not where the negative wire/s should be trapped.
If you look at the video posted by @yinyang you will see that there is no sleeve where your picture shows it. In fact the part shown in your picture is the part that should be inside the ceramic. I changed them over to end up with what I believe is the correct way to have the pins.
Look at the brass coloured pin at the bottom of the green circle and you will see that it is different to that from the picture you show from Focalecig product page. Focalecig suppliers IMHO have got the pins upside down.
Look at the video from 5 mins 16 secs in and you will see where Focalecig suppliers have the pins the wrong way round.
Hope it all makes sense.

Brambles the bigger black threaded centre contact just above the "O" ring in the green circle is where the positive wire/s are secured. Griff

The part with the green circle is the very small "O" that is missing, which secures the negative wire/s, which is made secure when it is screwed into the base shown with the red arrow. Griff

barrynorton the picture below shows where I removed the silicone sleeves from. The red arrow is the one that is stopping the airflow control from working. Griff

barrynorton if you look at the video posted by @yinyang you will see that there is no silicone sleeve in the airflow controller that screws into the 510 base. That will be stopping the airflow controller from working. There is also no silicone sleeve in the 510 base in the video. I, like you, put it back together the way I received it, which was due to the idiot who built it. I got now ohms reading because the very small "O" ring I referred is missing, which results in the negative wires not making a secure connection. Griff

I have received an Ithaka from focalecig and whoever built that is a complete idiot.
Placed it on an ohms tester and zero. That was because the negative wires were not secured to anything. The very small "O" ring on the pin that goes into the 510 connector is missing so there is no way of securing the negative wires. They have put silicone sleeves in the bottom of the airflow base so the airflow wouldn`t work. There was another silicone sleeve between the 510 adjustable pin and the base making it virtually impossible to use the adjustable pin. The locking pin that should be inside the ceramic cup was on the bottom of the 510 pin and the adjustable 510 pin was in the ceramic cup. Had to change them around.
I have removed the silicone sleeves that shouldn`t be there and now the airflow works.
In fact I have had to do what the manufacturers should have done.
I have emailed Doris and asked her to send me the very small "O" because until I receive that the Ithalka is useless.
Rant over.

FT have the authentic Aerotank for £13.63, which seems a good price if you don`t mind the 4 week wait. Griff

toots fully understand your frustration and annoyance with FT and they deserve a I have a few orders since they have returned from their hols go from one date to restocking. Have waited a few days and nothing changed so cancelled them. There was a post on the forum regarding the splitting of orders, (which is normally automatically done in 24 hours if one item is the only item not ready to ship), stating " Dear valued customers,
We apologize for the inconvenience due to restocking and not splitting orders automatically recently as advertised in FAQ entry page What does restocking means.
"When all other items in your orders are ready, FastTech automatically moves restocking items into a separate shipment for you (i.e. split shipment), so that you can quickly receive your order. The automatic split shipment process takes place every night Hong Kong Time, on business days."
Due to a processing backlog caused by an unexpected warehouse downtime last week, FastTech is temporarily pausing automatic partial shipments. This feature will resume before next Wednesday (2/26/2014).
If you would like your orders split, please open a ticket and it will be arranged.
Again, everything will resume normal status before 2/26/2014.
We apologize for this and thank you for your understanding." Whenever the Chinese have a holiday it usually takes about 4 weeks before they are back to normal Doesn`t help, but it`s a case of being patient, which I am not Griff

Whats the deal with Rebate Points on fasttech. I currently have 10.41 active points but have no idea how to use them? stu1873 put a TICKET in asking FT to convert your rebate points to a gift certificate. They will only convert full $10. Griff

Clivia lol, I need another Russian 91, I may just order very soon. Its a great site, I'm impressed. I'm assuming if it says genuine innokin, the genuine does mean the real thing? Can't believe how cheap the svd was 50% cheaper then any UK site. As mentioned I'm in no rush, but may start stocking up on shiney stuff. @purple1234 if it states "authentic" against an item on FT then it will be the genuine item. I ordered THIS SVD and it is the genuine Innokin SVD. Griff
