snout71 could be you getting 0.0 ohms as the silicone ring is broken in your picture. It should be solid and not in 2 peices. Griff

snout71 assembly is black arrow goes inside grey arrow. Blue arrow goes in through grey arrow and green arrow is screwed on. The ceramic is then locked inside grey arrow. Red arrow is the very small "O" ring that is missing. Griff

snout71 the pin in your first picture is currently on the bottom of the Ithaka and the pin in your second picture is currently inside the ceramic. They need to be changed over. Firstly remove the grommet/sleeve,(not required), from the pin in your first picture then put that pin inside the ceramic and then screw the shaft with the clear silicone grommet on it, (do not remove the silicone grommet), in the bottom of your third picture. As you look at your third picture it is the right hand side that marries up with the pin in your first picture. The pin in your second picture then goes onto the other end of the shaft that is then adjustable for the 510 connections. Hope it makes sense. Griff

@yinyang thanks for the info. The Ithaka sold by focalecig also has the logo, but instead of the brass on the bottom shaft it is SS, which screws in when it is attached to a MOD.....once you have stripped it down and re-built the correct way The only part that is missing is the very small "O" ring so I will wait and see what Foclecig comes up with from their suppliers. If they can`t supply what should have been on the Ithaka in the first place then I may well ask for a refund. Griff

snout71 the brass screw on the pin I believe is only on the genuine Ithaka. The clone has that screw on pin in SS, which is the part shown by the blue arrow, which I think you are referring to. The way to rebuild the Ithaka is as shown in the video in @yinyang post on page 29, (just scroll down the page). Hope it helps. Griff

browzer have a look at POST by Super-Shiny. As you scroll down you will see a chart showing how many wraps round a 2mm drill bit with 0.25 Kanthal to get the ohms your seeking. Griff

Brambles sorry if you were already aware, but this VIDEO posted by Super-Shiny shows a great way to make your own res/non res wires to whatever ohms you want. Griff

Foclecig thanks for your email, which I have replied to. Yes I got the bag of 5 x"O" rings, pouch of gadgets and wick. None of the 5 x "O" rings that came with the Ithaka are suitable as they are far too big. It is the very small black "O" ring inside the green circle on the picture that is missing. The picture is not from Focalecig website. Griff

Brambles your post was not taken any other way than you are trying to be helpful I am neither annoyed or frustrated it is more a case of I was hoping to be vaping on it tonight, but can`t I am more concerned about people buying the Ithaka from Focalecig who are new to RBA`s with parts in the wrong place and an "O" ring missing. You are right that it is the suppliers error, but as you say Focalecig should ensure that goods sent out are correct. I will wait to see what Doris has to say/do to rectify the error. in the meantime I am lucky that I have more than enough RBA`s to vape with. Griff

Brambles the bigger black threaded centre contact just above the "O" ring in the green circle is where the positive wire/s are secured. Griff You have got it the wrong way round Griff - the negative wires are trapped under the black nut and the positive wires under the black O ring @yinyang you may well be correct, but the very small "O" is not present to secure any wire/s. Thank for the link to the set of "O" rings, which appears to have the "O" ring my Ithaka is missing. I will wait to see what Doris says before buying the set as it should have come with the Ithaka. It looks like the sleeve on the adjustable contact is to add some friction ( I could be wrong) to the inside bore of the 510 male threaded part. You would then unscrew it to adjust to suit mod and in doing so the air hole is in centre shaft is exposed. Sounds good to me anyway but not having one in my hand is all guess work. I would not be too quick to jump to conclusion a black O ring is missing, maybe this is just an alternative way, using a grommet. Focalecig in my opinion must be the only supplier that doesn`t have the very small black "O" ring. Without it is a none starter IMHO. I don`t think I am jumping to conclusions as it would be a nightmare to lock off the negative wire/s without the black "O" ring. Griff
