hijack & charon thanks for the replies . I already had some of the Panasonic NCR18650B batteries as I used them with a kick. Sometimes the kick won`t fit in certain MOD tubes so I decided to use just the battery and when the vape starts to drop off change the battery. That`s why I asked about the NCR18650B batteries to make sure they were safe to use without a kick. Griff

Would these panasonci NCR18650B batteries be safe to use in a mechanical MOD without a kick with coils between 1.8 and 2 ohms? Thanks in advance. Griff |

markscuba you can get the small tube from Fasttech that fits the Hammer MOD. Put the small tube on the side of the Hammer, put your kick in and then screw on the 510 connector so it looks like this:  Griff

collie2011 you can use a kick in it, but your battery needs to be a button top one if you want to use it in 18650 mode. IMHO there is no issue with it being made in brass as the juice is in the atty. The only issue with them is that the 510 connector on top is slightly raised above the collar so the atty doesn`t sit flush, but this is easily sorted by filing the 510 connector until it is flush with the collar. They are a lot lighter that the usual Chi You`s. The tubing is a little rough to the touch as it is engraved, but in time I think that will reduce. Having said that it does give it a better grip when firing. Cracking looking MOD that feels good in the hand. Griff

collie2011 if you are happy with 5-12 watts then I would go for the FT kick, (18 mm), which saves all the issues with filing. I have a couple of the FT kick`s and they are just as good as the Sigelei, which I also have IMHO. The only difference is that the Sigelei goes to 15 watts. Griff

collie2011 just check that the Nemesis can take the Sigelei kick as it is 18.5 mm in diameter. The other Kick sold by FT is 18 mm in diameter and fits the Nemesis like a glove. Griff

catfish the Launcher is a good MOD and only £12.43. Good threads, nice weight and looks good with an 18500 battery with a kick. Griff
