Just when you say its blue light. I have a rainbow style and a black metalic style. The black one is white and then after it falls below 70% it goes blue, then yellow/orange when running out. I really dislike it as it goes blue after 10 or 20 minutes use. The rainbow one is okay, but like other are confirming there is the charger issue. I bought an Aspire Twist thats been quite solid, but I would pay more for the Innokin tbh.(£30). Ive got a Kanger too, but I really find that a bit unreliable with charging too My next purchase will probably be a MVP type thingy, just dont know a lot about them yet and they are dear, but Ive read a few on here saying the SmokeGroove 2 at £40 is quite good, the rest seem to start at over £50

thanks for all your replies, I have just charged one battery and it turned to it's normal colour blue (not green) and is still not working properly, i.e. have to press it a few times each time I want to vape, you said they are not reliable so which would you recommend please, and why do you think it has conked out after only 3 months. thank you, Jamesrd The Innokin vv v3. More expensive, but Ive had 2 both lasted 6months + and Im using them all day, maybe charging once a day

Sorry I thought I had read that Iso Alcohol wasnt safe? www.scsvape.com/index.php/how-it-works/And also that the denture things can release harmful chemicals from the steel/metal parts? Cant find the place I read that though, sorry. Its why Ive gone down the Vodka route (honest) That said Ive given up on the Aspire Nauticulus as Im fed up going down to the garage and putting it in a vice to get it unscrewed > But Ive still got Kanger Megas and Im curious about trying to clean the coils, so they last longer. I thought it was custard that was quite hard on the coils and Ive started vaping them more recently, moving away from the menthol. When on menthol the Kanger coils could last up to 2 weeks each, but on the custards Im finding after a few days the cotton has come out of the holes (in the new kanger coils) in slender little strands and leakage begins

I have a vision spinner 2 as well. I read somewhere on their site, that they recommend you set it to 4.2v when charging. As others have said, you can get a usb charger from most places, they are all the same, my mobile phone USB charger is a different voltage setting, so Im not sure how well it will work, but definately try charging at 4.2v. I have 2 Vision batteries and I have to say they arent very good compared to my Innokin vv v3, they are unreliable for charging, by which i mean they can show green on the USB charger, as if full and then I can reconnect to the same USB port and it starts charging for hours again.

So Im moving into cleaning with Vodka for the first time I own a Kanger Aerotank, Megatank and an Aspire Nautlius. I know to leave a coil in some vodka overnight, but was wondering if I could put the bases and the drip tips into the Vodka too?

Thanks igual, yes the centre pin in the base, I thought when I first looked at it, it sprang back when I pressed on it, dont know what Ive been thinking lol. Is "hoping water" a typo? Ive been running it under the hot water tap and then wrapping it in Kitchen paper and sticking it in the airing cupboard. I going on the basis that inside the BVC, the bigger the hole in the middle of the white cotton gets the less use there is in cleaning? Dont know if that made sense. Ive read that the Custard flavours can give more problems with lifespan and the need for cleaning. Up until now Ive been using Kanger Aerotanks and menthol flavours, never needed to clean until now and theres so many different bits of advice out there. Thanks again

I bought this about two weeks ago, its my memory that the small part of the base that fits into the battery was on a spring? Its just that now its simply stuck in or out, to make it go out I have to open it all up and use a pen to prod it through/out. Ive never used one before am I wrong, was it never on a spring? If it was is there a way of fixing it? Also How do people clean the coils? Thanks

ETA: the 2 modes are COMPLETELY independent of each other. No setting or reading will transfer from one mode to the other. Thats the bit that I never knew, but I dont feel much change when I do change from one, to the other settings. I will sit down and tinkering over the weekend though, cheers

Got my Nautilus today just starting to vape a Strawberry Custard RE- The vv/vw thingy, the problem Im having with this is that when I vape on the vv and then change the mode to wattage theres no difference in the taste/vape ie- it doesnt feel like its changed anything Its 6 months old now so maybe its knackered, as the first one I bought packed in last month. Will maybe take the plunge on a VTR etc in a few months, thanks all

voltage do change when you turn up the watts it just dont show it on the vv3,think of it more like 2 memories so you set it to your favored wattage on one atty and your favored volts for a diff atty I didnt understand the other 2 posts But yes it doesnt change on the LCD, which kind of renders it useless to me. From the minute you purchase it you have to decide which you will use volts or watts, as from then on the other will not be giving a correct reading. If the watts changes but isnt shown on the LCD then, when you change from adjusting the voltage to adjusting the watts, each time you increase the watts by 1 it wont be the value shown thats increased by 1, but the value its been set to when the voltage was changed?

So when you change one on the LCD, the other has been changed when you look at it?
Mine doesnt do that if I change either Watt or Volts the other just stays whatever it was before. Ive had 2 Innokin v3 and they were both the same.

With any VV/VW mod the setting sticks at what was last set. You can only set either Watts or Volts. So whatever you've set last is what it's set at. Changing Watts doesn't change Volts, and vicy versy. I thought there was a formula linking (p) wattage, (V) voltage and (r) ohms? P= E2/R ? The ohms is the coil, so its constant, that should mean that if you change the voltage, then the wattage should change too? On my Innokin vv v3 right now the voltage is 3.7 and the wattage is 8.0. If I change the voltage to 4.2, the wattage is still showing as 8.0 ?

Thanks for suggestions Have ordered a Nautilus large size, as theyre on special just now at Vape-it. Does anyone thing there is any real value in buying one of these MOD things that have a battery? When I add up the cost of the charger etc Im not convinced Im going to be better off in the long run, I also tend to find the flavours I use work best below 4V. Ive never understood the Innokin vv v3 as when you change the wattage the voltage doesnt change with it, as the ohms is staying constant I assumed that one would change in relation to the other, but it doesnt, so I gave up on tinkering and tend to stick all my batteries at 3.5 to 3.8v.
