Left a comment. As I said there, I've raised money for Cancer Research for years. If they support the TPD with over-regulation of e-cigs I will never do so again.

Voted. Shame the newspaper's garbage, but worth registering an opinion.

If you're happy with the results with 2.1 ohms why change?

Screw it, Fairy Gift said they'd VTRs and offer free DHL (3 day) shipping and a cheap charger and a Panasonic battery, so I did that instead

Fairy Gift might have them, being based in China, but I'd be surprised if European vendors have them (I could be wrong)

I've got itchy fingers waiting for the iTaste VTR and know that I need some batteries and a charger anyway (since I've the MVP at the moment). Looking around on FastTech I saw that I can get a Vamo v2 with a good NiteCore I2 charger and a couple of batteries for way less than European prices on these bundled items. It only took me a while though to work out that there have been problems with the threads on the v2 so first I read up on the stainless steel model (which is a little more), read that they've also been troublesome, then read that the v3 has a superior replaceable top cap, available in SS from StealthVape: www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10004394/1395800www.stealthvape.co.uk/vamo-top-capThat's still only the Euro price of two batteries and a charger - should I do it? Or should I just be patient?

That's not the store's fault, it's a quirk of PayPal. I've nearly done this myself more than once (and in this case the old address was in a different country!)

From reeftivo on ECG:
"I just corresponded directly with innokin and they told me the vtr will not be available until mid October. Bummer if that's the case. I asked them "is it for sale now?". They replied "no, mid October!""

The UK eCig Store preorder page has said 'in stock' for weeks (i.e. it doesn't mean the devices are in stock today... in fact since Innokin's post suggests they only started shipping them out today it's not going to be tomorrow, which was their last estimate)

My one concern is that the FT replacement coils are clones, not genuine Innokin, but they've good reviews and mine are also on the way

The iClear 16's have 2 wicks (so 4 legs), the iClear 30's have 8 (so 16). It looks to me like the new iClear, available first with the VTR, is a BCC.

They do, they've a longer shaft. 75 pence a piece from FT.
(By the way, start a new thread but please give it an indicative subject)

The whole world of mechnical mods is a bit weird to me - people paying 100 pounds plus for a glorified torch handle (just a tube, spring and switch) made in someone's garage. I wouldn't deny the beauty of some of them, but I wouldn't spend my money on that bit.
The innovative work people are putting into atomizers, on the other hand - I'll pay to support that (when I'm flush).
