That's the very thread. Turns out there is a difference between the charger that came with the 650 mah battery ( it's quicker but doesn't know when the vv is charged ) and the one that came with the 1300 eGo ( testing it now but it is so sloooooow ). The aero tank was also leaking into the airhole section - I think I had goofed screwing it in. Will test once the battery is charged. I have the worst luck with these things.

I got vapemail. I got one of these batteries (1300 mah ) and a Kanger Aero Tank today. I'm currently trying to charge the battery for the first time using the usb- ego charger that arrived with the old ego kit I started with but it seems to be taking ages. Are there any known problems charging this thing with that type of charger? Can you get stands for them similar to the block eGo stands on ebay? Any other advice you think I should have? I seem to remember a very good thread explaining how to use VV/VW but can't seem to find it anymore - can anyone link me to it?

Hi,
I got some new flavours to try but am unsure how long they need.
Paradise vapes Mint choc chip
And
juicy vapes apple
Juicy vapes banana
Is there a way to tell when they are ready or do you just need to keep sampling?

Noob question. Do you need to learn how to build your own coils to use these or can you buy them premade. ???

Back to OP's first post, mentioned cracking, guess the Iclear16 ain't OK for some liquids? If they crack are we talking embarrassing juice explosion or seepage? I'm tempted to try an Iclear 16 myself now. How do I tell them I want the 1.5 Ohm version? But I also like the banana juices and wanted to try pineapple hence the glass as they advise it.

I have some CE4+ clearos, a smoke ARO and a plastic tank thingy that came in a evo kit.
And two ego batteries ( 900mah and an 1300mah ).

Hi,
As per title I'm sick of geting a mouthful of juice and having it leak everywhere. So I think it's time to buy something a bit more long term.
I'd like it to be able to vape any juice without fear of cracking or fogging if possible.
I was looking at kayfun clones but don't know if they are a good fit for me as I can't see how you know how much is left in the tank if you make it all steel?
I'm also a bit skint so anything under £50 would be a godsend.
Any advice?

Um ok trying to explain this, I started with the drip tip cover on the left and cut the open side down until it was just longer than the one supplied with the chimney on the head. I pulled the chimney post off and laid a bit of wick from the "donor clearo" accross the top of the existing wick they supplied. Then I pushed the chimney back on and trimmed it to the same length and pushed both rubber caps back in place one over the top of the other. But, as I mentioned, the wick has fallen out before so if it is possible a better idea would be someone smarter than me re-wicking it with more wick and possibly a wider wire bit? Is that possible on these? Because I really want a glass tank that doesn't leak. Del

I'll try and take one later - though when I put it in for cleaning the extra bit of wick fell out so I may be back to square one.

Not sure how helpful this is but I had the same problem with the smoke aro ( one of these ). I tried putting an extra bit of wick across the existing ones, turning the rubber cap that comes against the central stem up side down, but what finally fixed it was taking the little protective cap that comes with some new clearos and snipping it down to only 3mm or so long and jamming it over the top of the one supplied. Great info again I'll definitely keep steeping them to see how the maple syrup changes against the more bakery and fruit ones. Thank you again folks.

Hi,
Is there a rule of thumb about how long you should steep certain juices?
I steeped the maple syrup for a week so far but it tastes more "burnt" than anything. :/
It did turn a lot darker as well.
So do fruit based liquids take less steeping time or more?

Lol, Good tip. I have even tried it with the internals removed - I think I have to face up to the fact this one is just had its day. I have spares so it isn't the end of the world. Thank you for checking

Well it's a metal collar piece but yes the drip tip fits on the other clearos fine. Gord alone knows what is going on. Maybe the water I washed it in was too hot? :)seem to be a lightning rod for sods law lately.
