Hi, I have found another slight niggle. The drip tip no longer fits on one of the ce4+ clearos I bought. I tried all the others in case I had mixed them up but none of them seem to fit the screw - it's as though the clearo has expanded slightly during cleaning? Is this possible and is there a fix? del

It's as though the top of the clearo is now wider so it drops in fine but the screw hole is too wide for it to make contact.
Like putting a nail in a pipe wider than the shaft but smaller than the head.

Must be the wrong tip for the clearo? A solution could be to wrap a bit of ptfe tape around the thread to make it a bit larger.

Yes the "O" ring is still there. I've tried all the mouth pieces I have and none of them lock into the screw :?

Got me stumped then, possibly use PTFE tape as a makeshift repair, but I'm thinking it's time to introduce it to a big hammer

Yeah, I was wondering if buying a new drip tip would help but if none of the others fit that probably wouldn't fit either.

Is there any chance it has a hairline crack that's widened the clearo? It's the only thing I can think of, might need a close inspection. Does the tip still fit on other clearos?

Well it's a metal collar piece but yes the drip tip fits on the other clearos fine. Gord alone knows what is going on. Maybe the water I washed it in was too hot? :)seem to be a lightning rod for sods law lately.

satanswombatwell bugger me...........was looking through my bitznpieces box and found a couple of old CE4+. If the collar & O ring are indeed intact, I would dissassemble the whole thing and check if the head is tight and the silicone cap is well down on it. The reason for the above expletive, one of mine was "loose" and after checking as above, Problem solved. (Kicking myself in the pants now)
