hidden rarely has so much bull come from one individual in such a short space of time. If the clones were illegal why aren't they in court every day defending themselves? they will be, watch and see If you're such a 'nice guy' as you keep going to great pains to point out why did you start a thread saying you found the best juice in the world but refused to share it with anyone until you had secured more or less the entire supply for yourself? - no one else is looking out for me so I have to do it myself look and learn, also you might want to try some of that juice, no agenda or vested interest, it was the first time you and 99.99999% of vapers in UK saw it, its ace and you should try it, I was helping you out by showing it to you. wont bother again!
You're full of it mate. - thank you !

I'm still uneasy that such blatant theft and supporting of the thieving scum is so vehemently accepted on here.
I know that wont be a popular thing to say here (after tonight) but it's the truth.
I posted this thread originally because I genuinely thought it was a huge concern, so big in fact we could all do something about it, and thought since I have been here a while and got to know that most of you are actually nice people (by reading the threads) you too would also be concerned and we could do something about it together.
I don't think most of the clone supporters even understand what it is doing to vaping or in fact understand cloning, they just want to post something against it, it's all about them and how they can now get something they couldn't get before even though its basically illegal but I'm not here to tell anyone they are selfish.
I work hard (I'm working now actually) and have over the last 15 years put myself in a fortunate position where I can go and buy whatever I want, I'm not bragging just telling the truth, nobody has ever given me anything, ever, I was brought up by a single parent on a council estate in Merseyside with 2 brothers, we had nothing, I only had what I went out and made for myself, I learned that from about the age of 9, I was kicked out of school at 14 and no other school would have me (fighting, not because I was dumb, obviously) so have no qualifications at all. LOTS of people have stolen from me over the years, be it ideas, designs plans or stock etc etc and made a good wedge out of my work (or warehouse), this is why I can relate to the guys who are being cloned, they are the ones who put the hours weeks months in and made what you are enjoying (clones) and you have simply lifted them like a pickpocket (well mabe not you but the cloners have)
the excuse of "the guy who made it will never get a sale from me anyways" kind of sums up the mentality we are dealing with from a minority here, again I'm not trying to be popular just telling it how it is.

then you found it on bootle market for 90% less than the price you set seriously, would you think it was OK ? Yes, because part of your job as an inventor is to make it as cheaply as you can while making a profit. part of your job as a inventor is also to make whatever profit you feel is right for the work you have done.

Let's try & put this a different way then: To quote you from a different thread- And then from this thread- (now I appreciate you didn't buy Linux, but you may have done being RedHat) So where do we stand with playing mp3 files on a Linux system using Lame (which is surely a 'clone' of the mp3 codec)? - I dont tbh, I use itunes to play my music on moc osx (& do you have separate licences for each and every one of your windows VMs? ) - no - some clients want to give me a laptop for their work, I take a licenced copy of their windows build and use it as a VM so I dont own all of that but it is legit and I have authority from the licensee to be using it

Cornflakes are long out of patent protection FWIW so no licencing going on there. thats fine then, kelloggs obviously made a load of money for their creation whilst they could. good on them.

jerri
say you spent a few months making something, a good thing, in your spare time, or without pay.
that thing was popular and lots of people wanted it
you where reaping the rewards for months of hard work
then you found it on bootle market for 90% less than the price you set
seriously, would you think it was OK ?

hmm, I think you missed the point young grasshopper im not preaching, im trying to protect vaping, what I thought everyone here kinda liked doing, see? I dont have a issue with people if they buy clones, you do as you wish, not my problem. I do have a issue with the blatant theft that we are seemingly supporting. its illegal, immoral, the cloners are cheating everyone, not just the guy who designed it originally. I don't miss the point. My point is there's clones everywhere. You can't take exception to them in one industry and not in another. you can when its licensed like cornflakes

So it's okay if someone buys a clone on your behalf? That doesn't cover phones. iPhones have a crap ton copied from android and Cydia. Same with android. And windows etc. its called licenced technology the design holder owns the p[atent apple et al (most of the time) pay for, oh forget it, I dont think you are to the required level of knowledge to hold a propper debate, you win! lol
