I have a solution to stop all the clones, why would I want to stop them ? well I think they will eventually ruin evolution in vaping and stop progression for new hardware as nobody will want to make any new devices.
I am doing this for a number of reasons, 1 to stop the clones but also common sense says I run the risk of having no warranty on the authentic goods I buy from these guys as they will eventually be done by trading standards for selling counterfeit goods, meaning they will ultimately go bust.
and then there is resale value, even if you have genuine authentic products people will hold off if they think it might be a fake when you try to sell them on, I have done it myself in the classifieds on here.
and also the resellers, if they will take a risk and sell counterfiet hardware whats to stop them making a few extra quid by messing with their e-liquids ?
so what I have decided is I am no longer buying anything from any vendors who sell clones of any description in their store.
no mesh, e liquids, kanthal or other genuine devices, from now on I am only buying from legitimate business selling authentic goods.
and if we all did this the clones would go away overtime as will the dodgy resellers
good idea ? bad idea ? whatcharecon ?

I myself don't mind clones as it gives me a chance to try something that i cannot afford, if someone wants to buy a genuine then they will as that is what they want but if someone cannot afford a genuine they will go down the clone route.
Genuine's is more of a hobby/collectable and ofc will more than likely work better and clones is more of "I cannot afford a genuine but still want to try something that is close to it but it won't have a serial number"
I would say though that some clones out there are taking the pi** with names etc.

but you cant gaurantee a clone is going to be anywhere near the real thing, or anything like its performance, there are also safety issues etcetcetc
I have nothing against anyone who has bought one to use but trying to profit from them is scummy tbh.

We all have a mind of our own
If so called Genuine goods didn't cost so much there wouldn't be a market for clones, They charge far too much its ridiculous to charge over £100 for a metal tube . Why should I pay over a hundred quid for something with a serial no. when I can get a 99.9% copy for 20 quid ?
Your choice to buy originals mine to buy clones
I don't go around preaching to you, so please don't try preaching to me. My money to spend as I please.

I bought one "clone" by accident.
It set new standards in crap-ness. I've reaped revenge in my own way.
(By not buying anything from that vendor I can get elsewhere....)
He (they) doesn't know, you don't know, but a few hundred quid is probably the loss.
Clearly it's not any our favourites...

I think you are dead wrong about clones ruining evolution hiddenusername The presence of clones makes inventors work harder, and clones sometimes have features that improve on the original. Have a look at this

Ithaka clone comes to mind It is such a good copy the parts are interchangeable so it only leaves really quality of metal used, so all in all it must be virtually identical vape, yes genuine might last longer but I can buy 5 or 6 clones for the price of one genuine so to my mind goes to prove how much they are ripping us off with price of original

They charge far too much its ridiculous to charge over £100 for a metal tube. they can charge whatever they like, its their product no one is forcing anyone to pay! so what you are saying is it is OK for me to pay a guy to steal your TV and bed so I pay him less than I would of paid if I bought them new, right ?

clones sometimes have features that improve on the original. Have a look at thisin this case it wouldnt be a clone . . . . . if they have used their own innovation to make the product better and are not passing it off as something it is not we are not talking about cones really.

Forgot to mention is have this EH PRO DHX-028 (v5) Telescopic Mechanical Mod (N-Zonic Clone) and it works really well and cannot fault it if i tried (and i can fault almost anything) it was a lot less than the original and works great, what more could i ask for, would i notice the difference in taste when a atty is connected to a original i don't know but i don't think it would be a very noticeable difference.
