Thanks - advice understood - NO charging overnight  Thanks for clarifying, I won't be doing it again! I'll have to chalk that up to newbieness and wanting one of them ready for the morning. I think it would help if the instructions supplied with the kit had some info on charging etc, but still it's my bad for not reading up enough. |

ghenjeinot a problem, I'm using a non market mains interface no probs. Just remember never to leave the batts charging unattended initialy EVER. The voltage is fine and the current just about OK, may take a little longer on charge..not much, so don't panic. If this is the first charge, leave at least 8 hours..it extends batt life supposedly.  thanks fred! Trust me, they're not leaving my sight!!! |

Great, thanks for the info charon. My batts had their first charge overnight saturday and I've not had to swap to the spare yet - must be a record or something going by how long most people say they last  ! (or I'm really not vaping enough lol!) As I don't have access to good USB connection at the OH's I'll need to use a mains charger - no point buying one what I've got will work |

Hi guys,
I've got a Sony mains USB charger kicking around at home - it's a 5v (500mA) output, model AC-U50A. As I'd rather not create my own personal firework display I thought I'd ask you far more knowledgeable peeps if it's safe to use for charging the 2 1100mAh batts that came with the Riva kit??

Thanks everyone for the nice welcome I went with the Riva 1100 and some vanilla juice - I'm so glad they never made vanilla tips for roll ups lol! |

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and to vaping, just got my first e-cig this weekend and have been happily vaping away. Really wish I'd got one sooner - I haven't felt the desire to have a roll up since!! Finding this forum gave me the info and advice I needed to finally take the plunge - big thank you to everyone here:D
