Thanks - advice understood - NO charging overnight Thanks for clarifying, I won't be doing it again! I'll have to chalk that up to newbieness and wanting one of them ready for the morning. I think it would help if the instructions supplied with the kit had some info on charging etc, but still it's my bad for not reading up enough.

ghenjeinot a problem, I'm using a non market mains interface no probs. Just remember never to leave the batts charging unattended initialy EVER. The voltage is fine and the current just about OK, may take a little longer on charge..not much, so don't panic. If this is the first charge, leave at least 8 hours..it extends batt life supposedly. thanks fred! Trust me, they're not leaving my sight!!!

Great, thanks for the info charon. My batts had their first charge overnight saturday and I've not had to swap to the spare yet - must be a record or something going by how long most people say they last ! (or I'm really not vaping enough lol!) As I don't have access to good USB connection at the OH's I'll need to use a mains charger - no point buying one what I've got will work

Hi guys,
I've got a Sony mains USB charger kicking around at home - it's a 5v (500mA) output, model AC-U50A. As I'd rather not create my own personal firework display I thought I'd ask you far more knowledgeable peeps if it's safe to use for charging the 2 1100mAh batts that came with the Riva kit??

Thanks everyone for the nice welcome I went with the Riva 1100 and some vanilla juice - I'm so glad they never made vanilla tips for roll ups lol!

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and to vaping, just got my first e-cig this weekend and have been happily vaping away. Really wish I'd got one sooner - I haven't felt the desire to have a roll up since!! Finding this forum gave me the info and advice I needed to finally take the plunge - big thank you to everyone here:D
