Hi vinny41, welcome to the friendly forum! I have to agree with the people above who recommended the VTR: Rugged, easy to use and attractive (in a chunky sort of way; I think of it as the Yorkie bar of mod's ) I have to admit it's a bit of a pocket-stretcher, though.

I was a light smoker about 100 to 150g of golden vergina a week got a cheapo ecig for work then after looking on here a itaste vv3 and have dropped to about 5 erm er cigs a day but prob less than one roll up a day Did not start vapeing to give up smoking but has almost ended up that way and less fag ash in the car Blimey, decoy - that's almost an ounce a day, in old money I went from about 50 (unfiltered!) rollups a day to zero - easy-peasy lemon squeezy. Mind you, over 2 years later I still vape at 36mg... I was going to comment on your 'golden vergina' but better not, ladies present, let's call it a typo

I've just started my first RA mix (20%) today, and it's *lush* I might try it with a few drops of menthol, then it'll be just like cherry Tunes Thanks for the heads up, guys (& gals)

I live in Batley Carr/Hanging Heaton Borders. Batley's tourist board (Mr & Mrs Eric Ramsbotham) came up with the catchiest slogan ever: "Welcome to Sunny Batley - Your Last Resort."Kinda snappy

I'll be taking my intellicharger i4 to Vapefest (insh'allah!) so anyone who needs a charge is welcome - I'll be in my bijou Romahome camper in the pen area for all the nutters off AAeC. All you Ego fans, just bring your battery + USB charger, no problemo!
...can't wait!

By 'eck, robby - I can't tell you how much dosh I've (ahem) invested in shiny tackle just to avoid that (Not to mention cotton wool, micro coils, tiger coils, S/S wicks (still my favourite!), Kanthal x3, Kanthal ribbon, silica by the metre, etc)

I quite like the Camel-type eliquids, usually sold as 'Desert Ship', or 'Ship of the Desert'.

My French is a bit rusty, but here goes: "Funny video: Twin boys in full discussion! These twins are really too funny! They communicate with calls and gestures, each more bizarre/strange than the previous one." Incidentally, this vid was a *massive* YouTube meme, (funny twin boys) about 3 years ago. Over ONE HUNDRED MILLION views

A warm welcome, clairea I won't try to add to the sensible advice above about which stuff you might consider, I'll just emphasise that you shouldn't ever be shy about asking for advice or info - even if you feel a bit sheepish! All questions will be answered, we all remember our early days of vaping and how complex it all seemed Hope you enjoy yourself here

Hi Roscopecotrain, like you, I'm a Pentax man (K-5) but that's only because of all my old lenses, all of which work really well with a modern DSLR. My 'out and about' camera is a Panasonic FZ28, which I've had for 5 or 6 years Only (!) 10Mp, but a Leica x18 zoom lens. It has been superbly reliable and on the basis of the total experience, I would recommend Panasonic 100%. I was just looking at the G6 on Amazon, and it's very well liked. If you can stretch to the £469 they're asking, I notice they have an excellent offer of a free 45-150 Zoom Lens, worth approx. £180-240, if you buy before the end of August. Reviewed here. *very* tempting - if you can afford it... I bought a decent external mike for my K-5 (NOT expensive, fits on the flash mount) and it really enhances sound quality - especially on a windy day! I think your post shows the main problem: There is just so much high-quality choice and the range of features is so wide that it's hard to decide. I would push the budget and buy the G6, but YMMV. Have you looked at Steve's Digicams, BTW? Plenty of EVIL cameras to compare, and I reckon his reviews are unbiased and certainly up to date. Good luck with your choice - it's such a big investment I know - shinyitis on a very large scale!
