lol, no probs.... i was on 24 for around 7-8 months, then went to 20 then 18 only for a month or so before i knew i was going back up...just mixed my next 100ml earlier, all at 20ish. i was on 25-30 filteted rillups a day on the stinkies, soooo glad i found vaping That's brilliant mate I love hearing about how vaping has really worked out for people. I never used rollups. 25 to 30 a day I hope you had one of those automatic rollup thinggy machines or you wouldn't have much time for anything else

As long as you are in the right ball park then the difference between 18/24 Will be more about how much you use it. If you start on too high, and I doubt you have, then it's easy to drop down a few mg. The bigger risk is starting too low, finding it ineffective, and giving up. That makes a lot of sense, thanks Mark.

dont worry too much, i started on 24 just over a year ago and after a brief flirtation with 18 im going back up to 20-22. try it and see how it goes, you might find a few puffs at a time at 24 gives you the nic you need, or a few more..... everyones different, especially in the early days. if you find 24 is too much, get a bottle of the same flavour at a lower nic and mix them to give a lower overall strength, so eg 1ml of 24 mixed with 1ml of 12mg would give you 2ml of 18mg, and so you wont waste the juice you have already, whatever strength you find you need Nice one, cheers. How long were you on the 24's before you tried the 18's and how much did you smoke a day before e cigs? It sounds like I'm interrogating you I'm really not lol.

So I've ordered a starter kit and liquids but I went for 24mg with all 7 10ml liquids because I was worried I might not get a good nicotine 'hit' from 18mg. The guy who phoned me from myepack said 24mg was high and he started on 18mg and was fine. People seem to say it depends on how many you smoke a day how much nicotine you should go for. I smoke over 20 a day at the moment, more at the weekend. What I want to know is... if it's too strong when I get all this stuff will it be difficult to switch back down to 18mg later if I'm used to 24? I've only just ordered all the stuff and don't want to order more on top that's a bit weaker. Any thoughts? 24mg might be a bit high mate. I used to smoke about 25 stinkies a day and I started on 18mg nic and found it more than enough to satisfy my cravings. 24mg may be a bit harsh, but everyone is different and you may find that it's ok for you. Since I've started mixing my own juice, I've lowered my nic to 14mg and haven't noticed it at all. Yeah I'm thinking it's a bit high. As soon as I run out of samples or decide I really like one of the flavours I'll order some 18mg I think.

It's easy enough to weaken it down. I'm no maths person and you will lose some flavour but you can do it with value glycerin from boots. Brainer bods than me can tell you the exact proportions.... Don't worry you'll be fine. I started on 36mg/ml two years ago and I've had a few whoopsies but am now on 10 Wow, 36 to 10. That's encouraging, thanks johanino

How can you tell if it's freshly made? Does it tell you on the bottle? What about if the liquid only has one flavour does it still need to be steeped? Sorry for all the questions I'm completely new to all this. Ask away mate, thats the point of this forum (And to rob you of all your money on shiny's Perpetua) Generally all juices will be fresh, I have no idea why because I don't see any benefit to it. But thats another thread. I always ask the vendor (if its a new one) if its fresh. Even with just one flavour they still require steeping to let the flavour infuse into the PG/VG. SOme juices take longer tobacco, chocolate, custard all generally need a week at minimum but 3 weeks is recommended. You can still vape them from the start but they will get better with time Brilliant, I'm getting it now. Thanks a lot ginge

I have only had a few bottles that were ready to go, if it is freshly made it needs steeping, so into the cupboard with the lids off for a couple of weeks. How can you tell if it's freshly made? Hi silentscream .. I vape only tobacco flavours mainly those that I mix myself. I mix various combinations of Flavourart tobacco flavourings including Burley, Golden Rollie, Virginia, and RY4. However in my experience you will NEVER get a TRUE tobacco taste unless the flavour is obtained from the tobacco leaf. In my case the only thing that approaches a true tobacco taste is the premade eliquid from the House of Liquid www.houseofliquid.com/ The House of Liquid stuff is definitely high on my wishlist after I try this first lot. Thanks for the tip You have to steep it apparently or the tobacco flavour doesn't come through. I had a look a the steeping thread and it just says for natural steep you put it in a cupboard for a week or two. I don't know if you open the bottle first or not before steeping or just store it. If you have any further questions just ask me and I won't have a clue I'll just ask everyone else lol. The bottles I have, have been in the cupboard for 4 weeks now Damn that's not good. Well never mind they are only samples and I might like them as they are. Do you leave the bottles unopened in the cupboard to steep or do you open them up first? Also, do you steep all the stuff you get or is some of it fine when you receive it? Thanks.

The black Evod starter kit has been ordered and a selection of 10ml juices 7 in total hopefully that will keep me going for a while when it all arrives. I'm excited now, I hope it all turns up in the next couple of days. I ordered 3 juices from myepack with the starter kit so there's no way the kit will turn up and I have no juice to go with it. I spent about £47 in total which is probably about what I spend a week on cigarettes, maybe less, so I'm quite happy with that. Thanks again for all the help

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. A bit of an update: I've ordered with my starter kit 10mls each of RY4, Flue Cured Tobacco and USA Mix. Also from Joose Juice I ordered Black Gold and Caramel Blend. I also ordered just for kicks their brandy and coffee flavours. I'll report back on how I get on with all these

The search for a true tobacco taste goes on. USA Red is very close, one of the better Liquids. Golden Tree reminds me of roll ups, just a little bit. Truth? Not found one yet that tastes like a real smoke, and doubt I ever will. Jag. (It's an alternative and a cure, but it isn't reality.) To be honest I won't be disappointed if I never find a 'true' tobacco taste. Similar works for me. As an example, the first (and only) e cig I tried so far was in a shopping mall in Wycombe. One of the flavours they made me try was Virginia and it tasted okay. What put me off it? The fact it looked like a cigarette. I don't want to feel I'm still smoking I want an alternative so 'close' works well for me with tobacco flavours
