Thanks a lot for the replies everyone. Perpetua which liquid types are known to wear the heads out quicker? Oh and while I'm here I saw a list of liquids not to use in an EVOD as they crack the carto but can't remember where I saw it. Anyone know offhand what not to use? Cinnamon and citrus are the only ones I remember. |

I've had it almost a week now and have been using both cartos and they both still seem okay. Is there some telltale sign that the heads need to be changed? Thanks.

I have found I am vaping more now than when I first started on Tuesday. I don't know why but I'm using more liquid than I was to start with. Maybe I'm just getting used to it now? Or enjoying vaping more than smoking maybe SS.  Oh that's definitely true, though I messed up on the nic content of the bottles I ordered. I had mixed advice about whether to go for 24 or 18 to start with as I said I smoked 20 or more a day and ended up with 6 bottles of 24 and 1 18. I can't really say whether the 24mg is too high nic content for me or not, it might be a little, but the issue I have is the TH is VERY harsh for me at 24. It's like smoking Marlborough reds. So I'm just smoking the USA Mix 18mg at the moment (which is very nice btw, from myepack) and tomorrow I will order 12mg bottles of the other stuff and then mix half and half with the 24's to get 18. It's not a terrible first mistake to make and if that's the only one I make I won't complain lol. |

Is the mouthpiece just called a drip tip?Yes, exactly that SS . . . mouthpiece seems to be an alternative fancy way of saying drip tip. Although mouthpiece to me means something that is fixed, but that's splitting hairs really. Drip Tips were just that, something that you dripped juice down in the days when atomisers were all we really had to vape with. With the various tank systems now, they're used not for dripping but as a mouthpiece. Thanks again for the help I've been looking at all this extra stuff you can get like tanks you disassemble and have all in parts and don't really want to get involved in any of that at the moment. I'd love it if there was a shop near me I could try some of these contraptions to see if the flavour was so much better to be worth all the extra hassle. |

Edit: never mind the pic is up. I can't help with that kind of tank I have zero clue about vaping apart from the kit I got a few days ago. Good luck though!

I just bookmarked that, thanks It even has a removable drip tip which would be great if I knew what a removable drip tip was  The bit you shove in your chops comes off/is interchangeable SS. I keep seeing this Red Astaire liquid coming up all the time. Just want to ask is it a carto killer for people who don't have glass cartos? I will get one eventually but am using an EVOD right now. Did we mention Red Astaire yet? Yes we did but I just feel the need to mention it again - fruity with a menthol and aniseed kick - I struggled for months to find a flavour I was comfortable with all day - this turned out to be it. Other fruity stuff - the Alchemists Bootiful Berry is pretty good (tastes a bit like raspberry slush puppy) and Mrs Lord's Seville Marmalade is an orange vape to die for... I keep seeing this Red Astaire liquid coming up all the time. Just want to ask is it a carto killer for people who don't have glass cartos? I will get one eventually but am using an EVOD right now. |

Sorry you're not having much luck today Sassy. I looked up vaper's tongue on ECF and it says eat some chocolate and that fixes it. Or try menthol liquid, that fixes it too. I hope you get back to normal soon, let us know how you get on tomorrow. |
